The hike commences at an altitude of 4,800 meters, necessitating a calm and steady pace. Upon reaching the summit, the effort will be rewarded with breathtaking views. Guides will share insights into the mountain’s origins and allow some free time to fully appreciate this natural marvel.
- Checacupe - After a day filled with adventure, a well-deserved lunch awaits. The return hike to the parking lot takes about 1.5 hours. A restaurant has been chosen where guests can savor the finest Peruvian cuisine. After completing all activities, the return to Cusco will conclude with a drop-off at the guests’ accommodation.

This is a must see even... - This is a must see even during rainy season! The coordination of transfers was seamless, there were horses for those who didn’t want to make the entire hike up and/or down, and the guide and driver took great care of us. The meals were also wonderful.

The wonderful colors of Rainbow Mountain - Ernesto made me feel welcome from the beginning. He was concerned for me during the trek and checked in with me several times. I appreciated his concern and professionalism. Our driver William was kind and very skilled. He was the first to greet me when I made it down the mountain!

Professor Roberto - Professor Roberto was extremely competent in teaching us about the general culture of the Incas, about the Andean region and about the Quechua language, in addition to being very friendly. The tour was great, very fun and the beautiful landscapes.

Guia Roberto was very attentive and aware of the difficulty of some in achieving the journey. - The guide Roberto was very attentive during the journey and explained about the region, the culture Quéchua, the music, the vocabulary and history of the peoples of the region.

Survived Painted Mountain trek - It is a long 3+ hours trip from Cusco but once you get to the top of the mountain the views are awesome. I would highly recommend paying for a horse unless you’re under 30 and very fit. The altitude affect is significant

No show. No communication. - I had booked this a while ago and had been in communication with them and I even asked before we got to Cusco what time they were gonna pick us up at the hotel. Also note you have to message them first through WhatsApp they’re never gonna reach out to you first. They told me that they would let me know the day before.
Day before came, I messaged them and called them because it was already 5 PM an and no one told me about a pick up time. I even had the Hilton call them and nobody responded. Ultimately no one ever showed up and we had to go with a different company.
For the price the fact that they did not follow through is really inappropriate. Luckily Hilton had a company and it was a lot cheaper than this place. And they offered the same thing. Definitely will be getting my money back with my credit card to tell them service was not provided.
