• Great George Street Historic District - Great George Street is renowned for its architectural evolution, showcasing beautifully preserved Georgian architecture on one side and Gothic Revival architecture on the other. Visitors will pass by the Bishops Palace and the Basilica Cathedral, which is considered the iconic silhouette of Charlottetown.
• Province House National Historic Site - As the tour continues, guests will explore the grounds of Province House, famously known as the birthplace of Confederation, before proceeding to Victoria Row.
• Victoria Row - This vibrant area is celebrated for its daily live entertainment, local artists, artisan shops, cafes, and farm-to-table restaurants.
• Confederation Centre of the Arts - The tour proceeds to the Confederation Centre of the Arts, where the world-renowned Anne of Green Gables play has been performed for over 50 years!
• Government House - The government buildings are a remarkable example of brutalist architecture. Visitors will explore the Beaconsfield Historic House and the Government House of Prince Edward Island, which currently serves as the residence of the Lieutenant Governor of Prince Edward Island.
• Victoria Park - The tour will then head back towards the starting point along the Victoria Boardwalk. Along the way, guests will pass by the Culinary Institute of Canada, the Queen Charlotte Armoury, and the PEI Convention Centre, concluding at Peakes Quay and Confederation Landing.

Your walking tour of Charlottetown starts on the city’s waterfront at Confederation Landing.

From here, the tour will progress up Great George St. which is known for the evolution of architecture displayed here with its beautifully preserved Georgian architecture on one side of the street and Gothic Revival architecture on the other side.
Continuing onward, guests will stroll the grounds of Province House - also known as the birthplace of Confederation before heading over to Victoria Row.
Guests will continue onward to view the Confederation Centre of the Arts where the world famous Anne of Green Gables play has been running for over 50 years!
The government buildings are a stunning example of brutalist architecture. Here you will visit the Beaconsfield Historic House and the Government House of Prince Edward Island.
After this, the tour will start to head back toward the starting point by following the Victoria Boardwalk.
