Fender Bender Nov 29, 2025. - From beginning to end it was a well-run event. Everything was flawless, the band was spectacular, Steven was funny and engaging and the driver got us from point A to point B with no issues. Highly recommend.

What a great time we had! The bus was alot of fun, music was great and the brewery choices perfect! - We loved the music - what I would describe as classic rock. The bus ride was comfortable and the choice of 3 breweries was great as they serviced us quickly. A great way to spend an afternoon in Charlotte! Highly recommended.

Crazy Fun - Such a great time! One of the most fun things I’ve ever done. Was lucky enough to get Melody and the Notes band who were just insanely talented and had the best song choices! Our emcee whose name I wish I remembered was hilarious and just added to the overall experience. Brewery stops were good didn’t feel too rushed. I did wish we had more time on the bus as the band was just so awesome I wish we could’ve enjoyed them more. I already want to take this tour again and highly recommend this to anyone and everyone!

Had a blast - This was an awesome experience. And whoever thought,”let’s put a drum set,2guitar players,a singer, and sound system on a bus and play great music”. We enjoyed the Master of ceremonies antics and of course the brewery stops. Looking forward to bringing any guests that come visit me on this tour! A must do!

Great time had by all - This tour was a blast (YMMV depending on your crowd). We had a 3 piece band + vocalist. They were great, playing a mix of music bust mostly classic tunes. (Was appropriate for our 40 and over birthday party crowd). We stopped at 3 breweries for about 30 minutes each and about 20 minutes rides between bars. It was a great way to meet others, have great conversation, listen to some good music, and drink some very good local brews. The stops also had food available. This may be new city hobby. I highly recommend! (Note: There are no open containers allowed “getting on or off the bus”. Therefore, if you want to drink on the bus BYOB in a cooler or get a ‘capped’ bottle or can and bring on the bus.)

LaZoom Fender Bender Experience - My wife and I have been on several LaZoom tours in Charlotte and Asheville and have generally enjoyed them. While the overall experience on the Christmas Fender Bender was acceptable and the band were great, the stop at Royal Tot was a major disappointment. With only two stops on the tour, which is advertised as featuring the “brightest sights and stops at festive BARS,” each stop really mattered. Unfortunately, the first stop at Vaulted Oak was neither bright, sightly, nor festive, and the second stop at Royal Tot failed even harder. Our bus was mostly full, and Royal Tot was clearly unprepared for the crowd. Service was painfully slow, and the bartenders’ poor attitudes firmly landed them on Santa’s naughty list, in my opinion. It took roughly 45 minutes to receive a cocktail, and when it finally arrived, it was average at best. To make matters worse, Royal Tot added a 20% “fee” to the check without informing patrons in advance. While I understand that LaZoom isn’t directly responsible for a vendor’s policies or service, they do share responsibility for choosing where to take paying customers. This stop significantly detracted from what should have been a fun holiday experience. Going forward, I’ll save my money and plan my own non–Fender Bender bar crawls, and I’d recommend others consider doing the same.

Sadly felt just like an uber ride - My friends and I did the Halloween comedy/ghost bus in October and had a blast. The ghost stories, puns, costumes, and performance were great and the drive was a little over an hour I think which was great. Now I knew this was not going to be the same, but I suppose my expectations were too high. The host/performer on the bus was nice, lively, and definitely tried to make it fun. The band was decent, but my friends and I were bummed it was instruments only - no words, no fun holiday songs to sing along to. So that made the bus ride a bit meh, we felt like turning on a radio. 1st brewery we stopped at - you had 40 mins, Vaulted Oak. They had a grilled cheese food truck which was great, but the brewery itself was not. Weird vibe, quiet-ish, family vibe. Sort of ruined the whole fun bus time. 2nd stop - 40 mins again - the Royal Tot. This was a bit better vibe wise, fun, decorated, more lively. BUT the bar upstairs was closed that night and it was packed inside so it took FOREVER to get a drink. Again - I think it would have been a bit more fun staying on the fun driving around singing holiday/popular songs. Then you drive back to Camp North End (30 min drive) and it's done. - I know LaZoom can't control the bars vibes how it will be when we get there, but I assume they kind of work it out with them? or let them know they'll be a stop there? If not, they should. And if they already do, the bars should do a better job being prepared for a bus full of people stopping by. Logistics didn't make much sense This experience was more about being in a vehicle with your friends, with background elevator isntruments, and a performer trying to hype you up every few minutes - again, like an Uber you paid to drive you around to drink. Halloween one was definitely worth it and I'll do that again, but would not recommend this one. Just hire a limo/uber ride - least you can control the songs and have some tunes to sing along to and pick if you want to stop anywhere or not.
