If it’s dolphins and shelling you’re after, you’ve found the perfect spot! We’ll set off from and return to the Folly River Boat Ramp, taking a picturesque boat ride through the salt marsh creeks of Folly Island to the historic Morris Island. On Morris Island, you’ll have the chance to stroll the beach in search of shells, shark teeth, and other fossils. From Morris Island, you’ll also get stunning, close-up views of the historic Morris Island lighthouse. Throughout your trip to and from the island, you’ll witness numerous sightings of Bottlenose Dolphins and other saltwater wildlife.
- Travelers be able to step down approximately 18” in order to board the boat from the dock.

The Folly River Boat Ramp is located at 97 Center St., Folly Beach. Turn right at the foot of the bridge as you enter Folly Beach. The Ramp parking lot is right next to The pink Folly Hotel.

Amazing Experience - This tour was amazing! Very personal and fun. Captain Billy was wonderful and we saw so many dolphins! Shell and shark tooth hunting on the beach was fun and the sunset was beautiful.

Charter with Billy! - Billy was very knowledgeable about the area, accommodating with regards to ensuring that we were able to see dolphins, and even helped us find shark’s teeth on the island. He was also a really nice guy.

A couple hours well spent! - Great way to spend the morning for our 12 year old’s birthday! Our guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. Seeing the dolphins up close was so special even if they were being a little shy that morning. And the best part was our guide being out on Morris Island with us helping our boys hunt for shark teeth!

Fun experience - Our guide gave us some history of the area while on the tour. We saw several pods of dolphins and local birds. We found several shells on Morris Island and our guide gave my children shark teeth that he found on the beach. Definitely take this tour if you're in the area and have time.

Dolphins and Shells, What More Could You Ask For?!?!? - Captain Billy was so patient and good with us; eased us in the water while looking for dolphins. We got to see several dolphins, including a momma with her calf! My daughters loved looking for shells on the beach too. They both found full sand dollars and some beautiful shells. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for a fun dolphin expedition.

Nice ride out to the... - Nice ride out to the island, saw lots of wildlife including dolphins. The island had tons of shells and beautiful views of the lighthouse. Wish we could have spent a little more time on the island. Our original tour time was cancelled due to weather but they were able to reschedule us for the next day.
