- Drayton Hall - Established around 1738, Drayton Hall plantation is situated in the Ashley River Historic District of Charleston, SC.
The Interpreter-Guided House Tour is conducted by experienced interpreters who have extensive knowledge of the house’s history and structure, as well as the many lives that have influenced Drayton Hall over its 300-year history. This tour is available once daily on each open day, starting promptly at 9 am (the gate opens at 8:45 am). The tour kicks off with an orientation video at the visitor center, and upon completion, guests are invited to embark on a self-guided landscape tour of the plantation grounds. This allows visitors to appreciate the historic scenery, breathtaking views of the Ashley River, and the diverse Lowcountry vistas and wildlife that vary throughout the expansive estate.
Tickets are all-inclusive, with no additional charges for the landscape tour or access to Drayton Hall’s museum galleries.

The ticket includes access to all Drayton Hall attractions. Ample free parking makes for a convenient drive.
- Handicapped Accessible through exhibits, garden, museum shop, and walking trails (however wheelchairs, walkers and motorized scooters may have difficulty maneuvering on the unpaved paths). The guided House Tour does require walking up the portico steps into the house. Personal wheelchairs and scooters are prohibited on House Tours.
