A Great Guide makes a Great Tour - We had a Noon to 2:30 tour within the French Quarter of Charleston. We had 4 1/2 stops - 3 food, a cookie walk by with samples, and a dessert. All of the food was delish and it was also varied such that we sampled a good variety of local food. We were a group of 12 and our guide, Georgia, kept the tour flowing smoothly. Georgia was fabulous. I am sure evryone on the tour felt as if they had made a new friend and would have loved for the tour to be at least an hour longer. Georgia imparted knowledge of City history, food history and its evolution in Charleston over the past 300 years, and some food prep ideas of her own. What a great time. Highly recommend it. 10 out of 5 for sure and come hungry.

A Taste of Charleston - So much fun! Great food and a great history lesson too. IMO— it’s the Perfect activity for all ages and most fitness levels. While it’s a “walking” tour- overall the amount of walking is similar to a trip to Costco. The furthest we walked between restaurants was a block or two. For you fitness minded folks- I’m sorry you may still need that trip to the gym 😆. I think it’s a great lunchtime activity. The tour gives you a “taste” at each restaurant and a chance to try at least 4 different restaurants. The amount of food at each location is perfect and each restaurant has yummy signature cocktails. At the end you’re full- but not overstuffed. I guarantee at the end of this tour you’ll be making dinner reservations!

Excellent food with a great tour guide - The food was outstanding. We went to three restaurants for a good variety of dishes. We ended the tour at an excellent coffee and dessert shop. As good as the food was the tour guide was better. Our tour guide (Simon) could not have been friendlier. Simon, also was a wealth of information not only on the restaurants but also in the history of Charleston. I enjoyed the food immensely but I enjoyed Simon’s and the others on the tour company more.

Great time tasting Low Country cuisine with family and friends - I took my 9 year old son on this tour with some other friends and their kids and we had a GREAT time. Our tour guide was knowledgable and so friendly. I loved how she gave deep history and information of the food, restaurants, and the city/low country. We went to 4 different restaurants and there was plenty of food at each location (so much that during our last stop which was dessert, we had to take most of it to go). Overall, I would give this tour the highest rating possible due to the food, tour guide and overall experience! Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a 2-ish hour food tour in Charleston!

Would do this food tour again:) - Had a fantastic time with Charley. My husband and I were very impressed with her historic knowledge of the area. All the restaurants were amazing. Actually went back to Rudy Royale and Carmella’s during our stay. So good!

Less military More culture please - It was comfortable and relaxing but there was a lot of talking about military and slavery less about the food and culture of Charleston. Would have also been nice to hear more about Gullah Geechee people which contributed ALOT to Charleston.
