Tour guide used explicit language every other word - was unprofessional while interacting with two teenage girls on the tour - generally gave a lack of professionalism. I don't particularly care to hear about her personal feelings towards Thomas Ravenal

I have been on several ghost tours in different cities and this one was really just stopping at a location and telling a “scary” (not) story. It was disappointing

Tour Guide herself was okay. However, I enjoy the tours due to historical nature of the areas and the interesting events that happen that help guide the spookiness. In short, our tour was vastly inaccurate. The "dungeon" wasn't wet or flooded, and the "tea party" (equated to the boston tea party) never dumped tea into the harbor of charleston. We visited the museums the day after this tour and were very disappointed to find that nothing was accurate about the stories told. The "adult" tour was also not worth the price as it was a few cuss words, nothing about the history of sex workers, piracy or debachery that I would have expected. I learned more interesting history from visiting the museums and taking their tours- and all of that COST LESS THAN this tour!

Definitely was not worth the money. Mainly the tour guide was very unenthusiastic and generally disappointing. Even ended the tour by saying “all mediocre things must come to an end” so she was probably pretty self aware. Generally speaking the jokes didn’t land and the stories were just very shallow- felt like I could have googled these and just walked around myself. For $10 maybe but $40 with tax? Was definitely expecting better.

Unfortunately our tour guide was awful. She spoke more about herself and her experiences than anything else. I don’t leave there with an understanding of any local ghost history or anything historical at all. The only “adult “ part of the tour was her excessive use of the F word and her hatred of Thomas Ravanel. She did not have the gift of story telling either. Hard to follow her. I’ve been on a lot of tours a d this by far was the worst. Charleston is rich with history and we were so looking forward to it and it was a joke the whole time with most people on the tour very dissatisfied.

I was on the Sunday 3/22 tour at 9pm. I do not remembered the guides name but we did not enjoy the tour nor did we find it interesting. The guide could have been a little more into it, and after she threw out the f-bomb 3 times we had had enough & walked away. This tour was not worth the $80 I spent on it.

I had a very hard time hearing the stories. The group was so large that the tour guide had to turn left to right and when she would face the other way I could not hear her. I could not hear her that well when she did face is. My 16 and 21 year old children said the same, but the could make out what she was saying. I am in my 50s but don’t need a hearing aid yet but I’m sure there is some decline in my hearing like older people so the person needs to speak up particularly with cars and people coming by. Also, this is the death & depravity tour. She was concerned if anyone would be triggered. It’s the death & depravity tour. Nothing that was said was very bad to say the least according to my children who could hear it and if anyone was younger than 16 they may not know what a brothel is anyway. My children told me the tour was meh and my son who is a history buff stated her stories had many historical inaccuracies. I will say I took one photo in a graveyard and was surprised to see a green orb in the photo that none of us saw in person. It is definitely not a reflection, possibly a camera reflection? It doesn’t look like anything, but a see through green sphere. Also I’m a non believer in ghosts as dead people, but I tripped and turned my left ankle on flat surface later by the Hat Man and had my sunglasses knocked off my head which in turn caused me to drop my iPhone. Crazy bc it was by the Hat Man and I was thinking how stupid he looked to myself. Not sure what caused all that. Overall don’t recommend this tour.
