EXCELLENT introduction to Charleston - The Meg !! - My wife and I are enjoying a brief vacation in Charleston, SC and began our visit with the Old Town Trolley Charleston Sightseeing Tour. We were fortunate enough to have "The Meg" as our tour guide. Meg was was no less than outstanding. She shared so much detail about Charleston history and culture in a fascinating and entertaining way! We could not have asked for more and highly recommend this tour and Meg if you are so lucky!!

The Meg - The Meg was a great guide. The tour is long enough to learn and see many things, but not too long!!! We had time to take pictures of things and hear about their history.

Enjoy seeing Charleston in comfort! - A great way to get an overview of Charleston through many neighborhoods. The Meg, our guide/driver, was very informative and combined her knowledge of the city and history with some good humor. BRAVO! She also was very helpful to an elderly couple who wanted to get a picture in Hampton Park. Suggest booking an afternoon tour when it is hotter…it’s nice to sit in an AC small bus vs. walking. I took a separate historical walking tour in the morning….so I got a full indoctrination to lovely Charleston.

Major Ted rocks - Major Ted was an excellent guide. He was very knowledgeable and was very humorous at times. I recommend the tour to get an overview of the area and give you an idea of where you’d like to return to in order to continue your visit to Charleston.

Just OK - The last time we were in Charlotte was 8 years ago and I must say, this tour couldn’t match up. There was only one stop (not as advertised). Although our guide said he was a history major, his presentation had a severe lack of local history. Mostly, he pointed out buildings, gave the name and very little info regarding its place in the history of the city. o, little was said about the people who founded and protected the city. We were disappointed in the presentation.
