- Charleston City Market - Established in the late 18th century, the Charleston City Market is a National Historic Landmark that extends over four city blocks. Hosting over 300 vendors daily, it stands as one of the oldest and largest public markets in the United States.
- Fort Sumter National Monument - Fort Sumter is a sea fort constructed on a man-made island to defend Charleston, South Carolina from naval attacks. Its construction began after the War of 1812 when the British attacked Washington by sea. Although incomplete in 1861, it was the site where the Battle of Fort Sumter initiated the American Civil War. The fort will be viewed from the sea wall, but not visited, as it is located in the middle of Charleston Harbor.
- Old Slave Mart Museum - The existing building was once part of Ryan’s Mart, a complex that included a brick-walled yard, a four-story building with a slave jail known as a “barracoon,” a kitchen, and a morgue. Stories about the mart will be shared, but entry will not be made.
- Circular Congregational Church - Founded in 1681, the Circular Congregational Church in Charleston, SC is one of the oldest continuously active congregations in the South. The church will be passed by, but not entered.
- Battery & White Point Gardens - Situated in the heart of Charleston’s historic district, this notable landmark offers a breathtaking view of Fort Sumter and Charleston Harbor, where the Ashley and Cooper rivers meet the Atlantic Ocean. Initially used as a public garden in 1837, it became a fortification for the city during the Civil War.
