Exceeded our expectations! - This exceed or expectations. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and sincerely interested in making our visit meaningful. We toured the grounds on the tractor tour, toured the house, walked through the gardens and near the water and did a self guided tour through the slave cabins. It is well worth the price of admission

Great day at Boone Hall Plantation - We greatly enjoyed our visit and the van driver was very informative. The exhibits in the slave cqbins were very eye opening. Our only regret is that we did not make the farm tour on the tractor, so we advise that you get to it early to ensure you get a seat!

We so Loved our visit to Boone Hall - Boone Hall was part of the experiences we researched and chose to do for our one time bucket list trip to Charleston. It was a working plantation and the individual talks set within the main ticket and tour had a lot to offer. While the actual Hall was only in part original, the grounds and slave quarters pretty much were. Each of the guides and story tellers were exceptional. We found the experience well worth the price of the ticket. Just the beauty of the grounds and tidal basin was so quiet and reminiscent of an earlier time in America. We loved our morning at Boone Hall.

Southern plantation experience - The trip to the plantation from Charleston takes about 40 minutes. The driver pointed out a few things on the way to the plantation. He was pleasant. In the plantation the guide who showed the house was excellent. Unfortunately it was rainy day and we couldn't see too much of the plantation. The presentation on the slaves was good.

Lots to see and do - Be sure to go to the main building first to get an appt to tour the house. Don’t miss the Gullah presentation. If you get hungry go to the Butterfly Building near the horse stalls for sandwiches and snacks. We had a substitute driver and he had a gravelly voice we couldn’t understand,, and let us off at the wrong place.
