• Charleston Outdoor Adventures - Prior to setting off from our exclusive launch site on Bowens Island, participants will engage in a short instructional session, a safety briefing, and a demonstration on operating the foot-driven steering system of the kayaks.

During the 2-hour guided eco-tour, participants will have the opportunity to explore Charleston’s renowned tidal creeks and saltmarsh. As they paddle through the estuarine waters behind Folly Beach, the local guide will introduce them to the diverse wildlife of the area. Be on the lookout for dolphins gracefully playing and feeding, wading birds searching the shallows, crabs and invertebrates scuttling on mudflats, and pelicans diving! The guide will also explain the importance and functions of the area’s key ecosystems.
