• Domata Beach - Departing from Chora Sfakion (or Loutro), the journey begins towards the day’s most remote beaches: Domata, Fournoti, and Kalogeros. The distant view of Crete from the boat allows for a breathtaking sight of the island’s majestic high peaks and dramatic gorges that descend into the deep blue sea. • Agia Roumeli - This village offers several hotels, a few rental rooms, and some tavernas. The village is not accessible by road.
• Agios Pavlos Beach - Continuing along the coastline, stops are made at any secluded beach that catches the eye! The Byzantine chapel of Agios Pavlos is visited on its deserted beach, where trees grow right next to the shore.
• Marmara Beach - Situated in a small bay at the exit of the Aradena gorge, Marmara Beach’s remoteness, stunning surroundings, clear waters, and nearby sea caves have drawn visitors for many years. A lunch stop is typically made at the taverna, a must-try in Sfakia! After lunch, a swim in the amazing caves adjacent to the beach might be enjoyed.
• Loutro - Loutro, the hidden paradise on the south coast of Chania, is a charming village built right “on the sea,” accessible only by boat. The village was a renowned trading port in ancient times, as noted by Cristoforo Buondelmonti in his book ‘Descriptio Insule Crete’ in 1415. While exploring Crete, he discovered many ancient artifacts, some of which were still used as building materials for existing houses.
• Glika Nera Beach - “Glika Nera” Sweet Water Beach is the next stop, perfect for relaxing and rinsing off the salt, thanks to the many underwater springs that make the water cooler than previous stops!
• Ilingas Hotel - The final stop is at Illigas Beach, featuring a small beach bar for a last cocktail before returning to the port!
