Informative and also exciting - Good opportunity for a variety of interactive photographs in the modern museum like waiting area where helpful staff showed us how to make the most amusing use of the 3D scenery and models if we so wished. Going through to the theatre/ cinema area the interactive 9D performances lasted for around half an hour which was just enough.There was an interesting and informative historical context film based on the origins etc of the Minoans and then finally an entirely different interactive performance mimicking a rollercoaster ride not unlike being in an Indiana Jones film.There were excellent special effects and overall this was a memorable experience which would be enjoyed by children and adults of all ages

An unforgettable experience - Hands down the funniest experience we had on our Crete holiday. I will never forget the the sight of a 3d rendered bull carrying a lady over the ocean while the narrator attempts to speak over the incredibly loud sound of the wind machine, all while being sprayed directly in the face with liters of water. 10/10 would highly recommend!

Great fun! - We visited this place today as something different to do during our stay in Chania. It was great fun & we thoroughly enjoyed it! Well run family business with lovely staff. Very clean & modern plus a respite from the Cretan sun! Kids will love it. Recommended.

An interactive trip into the past - A nice interactive introduction to islands history and mythology. It has a small exhibition area where you can take photos as well as read a bit to occupy yourself while you wait for the next projection. Your children will have fun as well!

An Absolute MUST: Incredibly Immersive 9D Minoan Adventure! - My visit to Minoans World was hands down one of the most unique and enjoyable experiences I had in Crete! Forget a regular cinema – this is a full sensory immersion into the fascinating world of the Minoans. From the moment we put on the glasses, we were transported. The 9D effects are phenomenal: the motion seats synced perfectly with the on-screen action (flying over landscapes, diving underwater!), the wind, mist, and even scents added incredible layers of realism. The visuals were sharp and captivating, making ancient Knossos and Minoan life feel vividly real. The scene flying over Crete and the palace took my breath away! Also the earthquake sequence was thrilling! What makes it truly special is how it combines cutting-edge fun with genuine cultural and historical interest. It's exciting and educational at the same time – perfect for both adults and kids. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, explaining everything clearly and ensuring we were comfortable. The whole experience was smooth, well-organized, and lasted just the right amount of time. The quality and attention to detail were outstanding. If you're in Chania and looking for something different, engaging, and truly memorable, look no further. Minoans World delivers a unique, very high-quality adventure that far exceeded my expectations. An absolute highlight and highly recommended – 5 stars without a doubt!

Fun for the family - This is a good activity for kids as the 9D movie is fun to experience. It is also a great activity to learn more about the Minoan civilization.

Ok for a family visit - We were here with our 7 year old son. It is kind of entertaining but graphics of the movie is really outdated. With children between 3 and 7 years is is ok but with only adult people I wouldn't go there (also quite pricey)

Underwhelming - The Minion figures and wall murals were interesting, though basic in design and production values. The screen experience itself was good yet would probably have looked much more impressive when the facility first opened, such has been the advancement in graphics. Both staff members were extremely kind and polite. Underwhelming probably describes it best.
