• Chania Old Town - Drop-off is at Talos Square on the west side of Chania Old Town, known for its authentic and unspoiled charm. Enjoy approximately 2 hours to stroll through the charming alleys, explore independently, shop, or enjoy a meal.
• Lighthouse of Chania - The Chania Lighthouse, the oldest in the Mediterranean, was built in 1864 and stands as Chania’s main landmark. The 21-meter-high tower, set on a stone base, is located at the end of the old harbor’s pier, opposite the Firkas Fortress. Entry to the lighthouse is not permitted. Originally constructed by the Venetians around 1600, it was destroyed during the siege of Chania and took its final form, resembling a minaret, during the Egyptian occupation. It was restored in 1996.
• Minoan’s World 9D Cinema - Chania is Europe’s oldest continuously inhabited city. The Minoan civilization, dating back to before 3000 BC, ended violently in 1250 BC following the Santorini volcano eruption. Ongoing archaeological excavations at Kasteli Hill have uncovered building foundations.
• Archaeological Museum of Chania (former) - Optionally, spend 30 minutes visiting the archaeological museum. The entrance fee is 5 euros per person.
• Souda Bay War Cemetery - This immaculate Commonwealth cemetery offers panoramic views of Souda Bay and the White Mountains (Lefka Ori). The Battle of Crete, fought at the end of May 1941, saw British, New Zealand, and Australian forces against German paratroopers.
• Venizelos Graves - Venizelos Graves is a park offering panoramic views of Chania and the Old Town.
• Agii Apostoli Beach - Optionally, visit Agii Apostoli Beach for a swim and possibly lunch. This stop lasts 2-3 hours, with a 30-minute drive from Chania (2 miles/4 km to the west).
