• Chania Old Town - Drop-off is at Talos Square on the west side of Chania Old Town, known for its authentic and untouched charm. Visitors have approximately 2 hours to explore the scenic alleys, shop, or enjoy a meal at their leisure.

• Lighthouse of Chania - The Chania Lighthouse, the oldest in the Mediterranean, was built in 1864. It stands as Chania’s main landmark, with a 21-meter high tower on a stone base, located at the end of the old harbor’s pier opposite the Firkas Fortress. Entry is not permitted. Originally constructed by the Venetians around 1600, it was destroyed during the siege of Chania and later took its final form, resembling a minaret, during the Egyptian occupation. It was restored in 1996.
• Firkas Fortress - Located on the northwest side of Chania’s port, the Firkas Fortress was built between 1610 and 1645 to guard the Venetian harbor entrance from raiders. After Chania fell to the Turks in 1645, it was renamed “Firka,” meaning “barrack” in Turkish. The northern side housed six consecutive domes for large cannons to defend the harbor entrance. The fortress served as a prison until the Greek Civil War in the 20th century. During Ottoman rule, it was the military governor’s seat. The Greek flag was raised here in 1913, marking Crete’s reunion with Greece. Today, the Maritime Museum is located at the fortress entrance.
• Venetian Neoria - During the Venetian occupation (1204-1669), the Neoria shipyards were constructed. In 1467, Venice commissioned the building of 16 shipyards. During the Turkish occupation, these were converted into military warehouses. Today, seven shipyards remain, but entry is not allowed.
• Minoan’s World 9D Cinema - Chania is Europe’s oldest continuously inhabited city. The Minoan civilization, dating back to before 3000 BC, ended abruptly in 1250 BC following the Santorini volcano eruption. Ongoing archaeological excavations at Kasteli Hill have uncovered building foundations and streets.
• Souda - This is a shore excursion tour with pick-up and return to Souda Port. Souda is a 20-minute drive from Chania, one way.
• Souda Bay War Cemetery - Visit the Commonwealth Cemetery, where primarily British, New Zealanders, and Australians are buried. The Battle of Crete, from May 20 to June 1, 1941, was the first airborne-only operation in history. The cemetery offers panoramic views of Souda Bay and the White Mountains (Lefka Ori).

This private tour offers a 7-seater van accommodating up to 6 guests. The tour includes a 2-hour drive around the city, visiting various sites, followed by 2 hours for guests to explore the charming alleys independently and enjoy lunch. The tour provides insights into the culture and traditions that have shaped modern Chania. Please note, our license permits only driving tours, so we cannot guide guests on foot in the old town.

Guests have the option to extend the tour by visiting the archaeological museum, enjoying wine tasting, or spending additional time in Chania. For an extra fee, the tour can be extended by 3 hours to include a visit to a beach or a mountain restaurant for lunch.
