- Lighthouse of Chania - The Chania lighthouse, the oldest in the Mediterranean, was constructed in 1864. It stands as Chania’s main landmark, with a 21-meter high tower on a stone base, located at the end of the old harbor’s pier, opposite the Firkas fortress. Entry to the lighthouse is not permitted. Originally built by the Venetians around 1600, it was destroyed during the siege of Chania and later took its final minaret-like form during the Egyptian occupation. It was restored in 1996.
- Minoan Palace Ruins - Chania is Europe’s oldest continuously inhabited city. The Minoan civilization, which predates 3000 BC, ended abruptly in 1250 BC following the Santorini volcano eruption. Ongoing archaeological excavations at Kasteli Hill have uncovered building foundations.
- Archaeological Museum of Chania (former) - Visitors can optionally spend 30 minutes at the archaeological museum, with an entrance fee of 5 euros per person.
- Souda Bay War Cemetery - This pristine Commonwealth cemetery offers panoramic views of Souda Bay and the White Mountains (Lefka Ori). The Battle of Crete, involving British, New Zealand, and Australian forces against German paratroopers, occurred here in late May 1941.
- Venizelos Graves - Venizelos Graves is a park that provides sweeping views of Chania and the old town.
- Agii Apostoli Beach - Visitors can optionally visit Agii Apostoli Beach for a swim and possibly lunch. This stop lasts 2-3 hours, with a 30-minute drive from Chania (2 miles/4 km to the west).
- Miden Agan - Experience Greek wines with a 45-minute tasting session, priced at 25 euros per person. Tastings are available on weekdays, subject to availability.
