Kew Mae Pan Nature Trail - Kiew Mae Pan Nature Trail
Open from 1 November to 31 May annually
Kew Mae Pan Nature Trail is an essential hiking and trekking path for nature enthusiasts. It is situated within Doi Inthanon National Park, which boasts Thailand’s highest peak.
Visitors to the National Park should definitely include this trail in their itinerary, as the reward for hiking this short (2.78 km) natural walk is the breathtaking view, including the Wachiratarn Waterfall (no swimming) and panoramic vistas, which are among the most stunning in Thailand.
This lush, highly-rated trail takes about 2-3 hours to complete and is suitable for beginner hikers. However, it is not recommended for those unable to climb stairs, as some parts of the trail require uphill hiking.
