Great afternoon exploring temples by Tuk Tuk - We had a great afternoon exploring the local temples with Boon, our guide. He and the driver picked us up at our hotel promptly on time and took us to 3 of the main temples in Chiang Mai, ending with a market and visit to the Tae Pae Gate. At each temple we would stop and Boon would walk us through each site, explaining the significance and history. He was very knowledgeable and interesting without information overload. We really enjoyed our day and the Tuk Tuk was a nice way to get around on a very hot day. We would recommend this tour.

Excellent tour option, half day, private, tuk tuk, English, met all our criteria - This was an excellent tour and exactly what we wanted. We wanted to learn about Chiang Mai's history and Buddhism and our guide Rapinphong Thanaratsirikul was extremely knowledgeable. We had already seen so many temples on our own but having a guide to explain more was quite useful. There is very little English translations at the sites. The tuk tuk was perfect and quite fun in the heat. We went to a fabulous market and we finished almost all of our shopping with his help. He knew exactly where to take us. Having a private tour made it easy for us to also customize a bit to we wanted!

Ok booking process. Good trip. Wonderful guide. - Good intro to CM, tuk tuk good way to get around, well coordinated. I booked last minute, and availability of guides was limited; in my fervor to engage, I booked a Chinese speaking tour. My error, I don’t speak Chinese. At all. Sooo immediately got on “chat” with TripAdvisor, thank god it was a human…I think….and was told that I couldn’t change a booking…loooooooong story short - Geralyn worked her app magic and reconfirmed I had an English language tour. Next morning Cookie showed up with tuk tuk driver. Decent tour - wish I’d read more on CM history, culture and religion in preparation, I could’ve asked more thoughtful questions - Cookie was “one smart….”. After 3 temple tours, we ended up at market place - great street food and CM shopping. Recommend for everyone - beats walking.

A Fantastic Half-Day... - A Fantastic Half-Day Adventure in Chiang Mai! We had a wonderful experience on the Chiang Mai Tuk Tuk Tour – Half Day Adventure, and it was one of the highlights of our time in the city. Our guide, Uthai Kanthaudom, was absolutely excellent — attentive, knowledgeable, and incredibly personable. He struck the perfect balance between being informative and relaxed, making the whole tour feel both engaging and enjoyable. Throughout the afternoon, he beautifully intertwined the history of Chiang Mai with each stop, giving us a real sense of the city’s heritage and character. We visited three stunning temples, each completely different in style and atmosphere. Every one offered something unique, and having Uthai explain the architectural details and historical significance made them even more special. We also explored a bustling local food market, which was a fascinating cultural experience. It was vibrant, authentic, and full of local life. Visitors should be aware that some traditional fresh produce, including live seafood and other market staples, are sold — a completely normal part of daily local commerce, but something to be mindful of if you’re not used to it. The Tuk Tuk itself was great fun and added a real sense of adventure to the morning. All in all, a superbly organised tour with a genuinely outstanding guide. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an engaging and insightful introduction to Chiang Mai.
