I highly recommend Big Bike Tours, Chiang Mai - Big Bike Tours in Chiang Mai was absolutely amazing! From the moment we were picked up at the airport, my friend and I started our adventure and just got better from there. I started with an 8-Day tour. This tour is, without a doubt, the best way to experience the hidden gems and spectacular beauty of Northern Thailand.
The routes chosen were simply breathtaking. We rode through winding mountain roads and past endless rice paddies, with photo opportunities at every turn. Highlights included the views at the Golden Triangle and the panoramic vistas on the Mae Hong Son loop (famous for its 1,864 curves!), which were more stunning than I could have imagined. The natural scenery was a fantastic change from the busy city, offering a true escape into the wild nature and local culture.
The culinary journey was a major highlight. Every meal was fantastic, fresh, and delicious, offering authentic local cuisine at carefully selected restaurants and small local spots. From market snacks to full dinners, the food was spectacular and a true taste of local flavors.
The hotels and lodgings selected for our overnight stops were top-notch. Ranging from comfortable small inns to 5-star hotels with pools, every place was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, ensuring a perfect place to relax after a day of riding.
The team at Big Bike Tours were the ultimate professionals. Our guides (shoutout to Kay, Thun, Pong, Rut and the entire crew! And Wiwat for tweaking the suspension on the Street Triple for me. Special note of thanks to Torsten for helping keep everyone safe) were knowledgeable, experienced, and genuinely fun to be around. They were always making sure everyone was comfortable, creating a friendly and supportive atmosphere throughout the entire journey.
If you're an experienced rider looking for an adventure that combines thrilling roads, cultural immersion, and exceptional service, I can't recommend Big Bike Tours enough. I was in Thailand for 5 weeks and did 3 different tour with Big Bike Tours. (8-Day, 3-day and a 1-Day with Thun.)
I will definitely be back for another trip! To top it off, I met some new Lifelong friends!

Pamper yourself on this Thai ride. I did!! More than a ride, a smorgasbord of roads, food and fun! - Itinerary, service, knowledge of roads and Thai culture supreme! Great price structure considering all accommodation, food, fuel and tourist attraction fees included. Accommodation could not be better, food prodigious and out of this world. Staff gave of themselves freely and consistently. Very competent, professional organization in all aspects.

Beyond Comparison - Simply the Best. 8 days of sheer pleasure. Big Bikes seamlessly provide a service that is second to none. No detail is missed, nothing is overlooked, professional from the second I arrived at Chaing Mai Airport until the time I left. Good quality well maintained bikes, great Hotels, food and the true star of the tour was Pong, our guide/leader. Pong is totally professional, considerate, well organised and most importantly he is a very kind person. Thanks for a great time, its a long way from the UK but I will be back.

Awesome ride, can't wait to do another one. - Pong was our guide and he did a great job organizing meals and ensuring they were ready for the group for lunch and dinner every day. He made the ride fun by setting just the right pace and the one day we had wet roads he slowed down and I really appreciated his caution. All the motorcycles were in great condition and ran perfect.

Overdue second tour with Big Bike Tours. Our group of 3 riders booked the 8 day undiscovered Thailand tour in late March - Fantastic 2nd tour with Big Bike Tours. If you are considering a tour in Thailand, look no further, these guys are the real deal and make everything easy. From airport pickup, all accommodation, food, coffee, motorcycles, fuel, guide and support vehicle, Big Bike Tours made everything perfect for us just to enjoy the ride stress free. It had been 5 years since we last did a tour, and I was impressed that they have continued to improve by elevating the hotel standards, and restaurants used in the tour. The bikes were faultless, with good tyres, but should you have a problem, the support vehicle which carries your luggage, and delivers water at every stop, will sort mechanical issues. Our guide was OHM, a young, polite, and very knowledgeable local who was a very safe and skilled rider. OHM, looked after us on the road and at each stop and was always available to help or answer any questions. He recognised the different rider skills and abilities and kept everyone happy during the ride. 100% I would tour with the company again. Their knowledge of the fantastic roads in Thailand, what to see, and organisation is 2nd to none. Thank you OHM and the Big Bike Tours team for another memorable experience!

Thailand motorcycling sorted. - The company is the most professional we've ever been on tour with. And the price it's more than competitive.
The tour is really nice, it shows that north Thailand isn't a backward jungle, it's a place with very friendly people, internet and great roads. Do not worry about the traffic.
The roads around Nan is why motorcycles were invented.

Amazing twists & smiles! - This is our second trip with Big Bike Tours now, our first being two years ago…. A five day ride which was so good we came back for a longer ride!
The choice of bikes available are excellent, a really great team at base and on the road ensure that the bikes are kept serviced and in good condition.
All the bikes are with either a top box or tank bag for this little items.
Once on the road, Koppi, Chao & Pong quickly establish the level that people ride to and adjust to suit that level while considering and helping a slower perhaps less confident rider in the group.
Water at every stop and plenty of them - allows your to take your helmet off and just smile and say how great that last section was!! Then get ready for the next section!!
Awesome roads, great tarmac that puts the UK to shame!
We have met some great people and kept in touch with some from the last ride and made new pals on this ride! Lots of like minded people from all areas of the world made the trip for us!
Decent hotels and food, just can’t fault the tour and looking to come back for a third ride and longer still !!!!
Big Bike Tours is truly the land of smiles….. ok so is Thailand!

Fun, adventurous, super twisty. - The company did a great job generally of making sure everyone on the tour was taken care of. From airport pickup to right size bike to accommodations & meals, everything interaction was professional, kind, & enthusiastic.
If you are thinking of going on this tour be aware it is very curvy, technical riding and you should be competent with fast twisty turns. We had a mix of riders some of who felt the speed was too fast and others who thought it too slow. Everyone can go at the pace they are comfortable with, I took that to heart & was often in the back half of the group. We were however left behind as the group took a turn at a t-Junction & we were left not knowing where to go for sometime. The rear support vehicle was MIA. This had happened to a couple guys a couple days before. Make sure you get the next stop on your gps maps.
The staff worked really hard but at times seemed a little overwhelmed.
