To embark on this tour, depart from Huaraz at 7 am, heading north towards Carhuaz (2,650 meters above sea level). The journey ascends through the Ulta Valley, with a brief stop at the Punta Olímpica Tunnel (4,736 meters above sea level), the highest in the world, providing a panoramic view of the Huascarán, Chopicalqui, Hualcán, and Ulta mountains. Enjoy the sight of the turquoise green lagoons before arriving in Chacas at 3,330 meters above sea level.
