• Botinas Island - Botinas Islands
  These two small stone islands offer a paradise-like setting. Resembling twins, the Botinas Islands boast calm, colorful seas, making them an excellent spot for snorkeling. Although not located on Ilha Grande, they are part of the bay surrounding the island and are definitely worth a visit. The white sandy bottom and clear water make the sea appear much shallower than it is. However, the area around the islands can reach depths of up to 10 meters.

• Praia do Dentista - Dentista Beach
  The incredibly white and fine sand forms waves amidst the forest. The beach’s design is a natural wonder, alternating green and white in waves that shape one of the most spectacular beaches in the region. Situated on Gipóia Island, Dentista Beach captivates all visitors. With calm, crystal-clear waters and vibrant colors that change with the sky, this beach is a must-see for anyone visiting Ilha Grande.

On weekdays, Dentista Beach is completely deserted, with no kiosks or street vendors. On weekends, it attracts a lively crowd arriving on yachts and speedboats to enjoy the paradise. When the beach is crowded, boats with bars serve drinks to visitors.

• Praia Da Piedade - Known for once being the headquarters of Caras Island, Praia da Piedade enchants with its bucolic appearance and the stunning nature surrounding it. Located on Gipóia Island, near Ilha Grande, this small beach offers a strip of sand with shallow sea on both sides, making it perfect for families with children.

The Church of Mercy is situated at the top of the beach, overlooking the sea, providing a perfect setting for romantic couples seeking a spectacular place to get married. At the other end of the sand strip lies a complex of houses once frequented by celebrities.

• Ilhas da Gipoia Beach - With an extensive stretch of sand, Praia das Flechas — located on Ilha da Gipóia — caters to both those seeking a quiet place and those who prefer the amenities of kiosks and restaurants. The left corner of the beach is completely preserved and free of buildings, while from the middle to the right corner, there are various shops, houses, and even inns. Turtles often appear near the pier, accustomed to the fish thrown by the boats.

On weekdays, Praia das Flechas is usually quiet with few boats, but on weekends the marina is bustling. Praia das Flechas is not included in all tour agency routes. It is typically part of the Paradise Islands package, which includes visits to Ilha da Gipóia and other islands in Angra. (OPTIONAL LUNCH STOP)

• Ilha da Gipoia - Pitangueira Beach
  A simple and peaceful beach, it is considered one of the best places to relax on the island. It is not well-known among tourists and is mostly visited by local residents. During the high season, some visitors take boat trips around the region. Surrounded by abundant native forest, visitors need not worry about a beach umbrella, as trees provide ample shade. It is an ideal spot to relax, enjoy a refreshing swim, and connect with nature. The sea is perfect for fishing, as well as water sports like diving and kayaking. Since there is no nearby infrastructure, tourists are advised to bring their own food and drinks, and to ensure they take away any trash they produce.
