A 30-minute walk on a gravel path with river crossings is required, so bring sturdy shoes that can get wet. Arrive at the cave entrance and relax on a tube with a mesh seating bottom and headrest. The adventure begins one hour after the ship docks in Belize. Our staff will carry the tubes to the cave entrance. Each tube features a mesh seat bottom and headrest, and our guides will equip you with a helmet, jacket, and lights. The journey includes a twenty-minute walk, crossing the river three times. Upon reaching the caves, there’s an optional swimming spot. You’ll be provided with a luxury tube featuring a headrest, mesh bottom seating, and rope links for easy floating as the guide expertly navigates through the cave system beneath the Maya mountains. The caves boast numerous formations and a small waterfall, with guides offering geological and historical insights as you float downstream.
