Pedaling Through Paradise

The Cayman Islands have always been a place of wonder for me, a former professional surfer turned island wanderer. The ocean’s call is ever-present, but this time, I decided to explore the land on an E-Bike Ecological Tour. The idea of cruising along the coastlines and through the mangroves on an electric bike was too tempting to resist. With the sun warming my back and the salty breeze in my hair, I set off on this three-hour adventure with a group of fellow explorers.

Our guides, Santa and Paul, were the epitome of island hospitality. Their passion for the island’s history and ecology was infectious. The electric bikes made the journey effortless, allowing us to cover over 11 miles without breaking a sweat. For someone like me, who spends most of his time riding waves, this was a refreshing change of pace.

Paul had the tires changed in under five minutes, a testament to their preparedness and dedication to ensuring everyone had a great time.
