Arequipa - Salinas & Aguada Blanca Reserve – Colca Chivay - Colca Lodge Spa & Hot Springs

Vicuña Zone - Pick-ups commence at 07:30h from your hotel if you are staying in the city center.
We head towards Chivay town, making stops along the northern highway at Pampa Cañahuas (Salinas and Aguada Blanca National Reserve, vicuña reserve), Tocrapampa (lagoons, wetlands, herds of alpacas and llamas), and Patapampa high point (Andes viewpoint, 4900 m.a.s.l.). Upon arrival in Chivay, we stop for lunch before driving to your hotel, Colca Lodge, located in Yanque village.

For nature enthusiasts, this is an ideal place to stay, offering a chance to explore the surrounding region or rejuvenate between long journeys. In the afternoon, you can enjoy the hotel’s thermal hot spring pools and visit the alpaca ranch, as Colca Lodge has curated a unique collection of alpacas and llamas of various colors and breeds.

Laguna Pampa Blanca - Stop to observe the wild vicuñas.

INKAWASI Thematic Cafe - A technical stop offering restroom facilities and a small café.

Alpaca Zone - We will stop near a group of alpacas in their natural habitat.

Andes Viewpoint - This is the highest point on our tour to the Colca Canyon. We will pause to admire the mountains lining the Colca Canyon.

Plaza de Armas de Chivay - Stop at a restaurant offering buffet and à la carte lunch. Then, transfer to your Colca Lodge hotel.
Lunch is at your own expense.

Hotel Pickup - Villages and Viewpoints - Cruz del Cóndor Viewpoint of the Colca Canyon - Puno

Yanque - Breakfast around 05:00h.
06:00h After breakfast, we depart for the Cruz del Cóndor viewpoint to enjoy a spectacular view of the condors in flight and the depth of the Colca Canyon, with a stop of over an hour. On the return, we pass through traditional towns like Maca and Yanque, and tourist viewpoints to appreciate the Andean landscape, then return to Chivay for free time for lunch.

Final in Puno: From Chivay, around 13:00h, we head towards Puno city, making two stops at tourist sites such as Patapampa and Lagunillas. The journey takes approximately 6 hours, arriving in Puno (Lake Titicaca) around 19:00h. The tour concludes in the plaza of Puno or a location near your hotel.

Church of Maca - Visit Maca village either on the way or returning.

Antahuilque Viewpoint - The best viewpoint to appreciate the Inca terraces and towns along the Colca Valley.

Cruz del Cóndor Viewpoint - A scenic viewpoint with views of mountains, canyons, and flying condors.

Chivay - Stop and time for lunch.

After lunch, it is likely that a change to another van/bus will be necessary. Our tour guide will provide assistance and support.

Andes Viewpoint - Volcanoes viewpoint.
