Santuario di Maria Santissima Avvocata - This is the final destination of the hike. We will visit the grotto, where the shepherd had the vision of Our Holy Lady, and told him to built a Church.

This exciting new hike is part of the upcoming Jubilee Year 2025 celebrations. The tour includes a guided visit to the Benedictine Abbey, established in 1011. Participants will discover the rich history of the Abbey’s foundation and the subsequent development of the town of Cava de’ Tirreni (SA). The path follows the footsteps of countless pilgrims who walked it as an expression of Christian faith.
Additionally, the hike offers breathtaking views of the Amalfi Coast, including the picturesque towns and villages of Vietri sul Mare, Raito, Cetara, Maiori, and Ravello, as well as the majestic Vesuvius volcano and the Lattari Mountains. Along the way, hikers may encounter wild horses, goats, and sheep, and have the opportunity to observe peregrine falcons soaring overhead.
The hike is rated as E, MODERATE, covering a total distance of 12 km (7 miles). Participants are advised to wear hiking shoes and are encouraged to bring at least one walking stick for support during the hike.
