A memorable 30th anniversary celebration - We were on a cruise celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary and wanted something exclusive and private for the day. Filippo made everything perfect. We arrived in Messina, and he was right there under the ship, ready to go—no waiting, no hassle.
The van was luxurious and comfortable, and Sonia, our hostess, made sure we had everything we needed. Filippo took us to the bustling Mercato di Ballarò in Palermo, where we experienced the authentic, vibrant atmosphere of a local market. We enjoyed walking through the stalls, sampling fresh Sicilian produce, and soaking in the lively energy of the city. It felt like we were really part of the local scene.
The whole experience was personal, relaxing, and perfectly suited to our special day. We couldn’t have asked for a better way to celebrate our anniversary. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something truly exclusive!

A seamless and stress-free way to explore - We booked the van for a day trip to Ragusa and Modica, and we couldn’t have been happier with the service. Filippo was the epitome of professionalism. We were on a cruise and arrived in Messina, and finding Filippo was a breeze—he was waiting for us just under the ship, ready to go. No hassle, no confusion. He drove us right to the entrances of these beautiful historic towns, and we didn’t have to deal with parking or navigating the narrow streets; it was pure convenience.
Erica, the hostess, was welcoming and attentive, always ensuring we had everything we needed. The van was always spotless, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the hot weather. The chilled water offered was a nice touch, and Filippo made sure we were always comfortable.
Filippo took us to La Bottega dei Sapori, a cozy restaurant in Ragusa where only locals go for authentic Sicilian cuisine. The pasta with wild fennel was incredible. For lunch in Modica, we had the best cannoli at a little-known bakery, Antica Dolceria Bonajuto, which we would never have found on our own. Filippo knows exactly where to take you for a true taste of Sicily. We were able to explore on our own but appreciated the tips for local spots to visit. An excellent service!

Outstanding service and comfort throughout the day. - We hired the private van for a full day to explore Catania and Taormina. With limited parking options in these beautiful but crowded areas, Filippo made our experience hassle-free. He dropped us off at the heart of both towns, right at the pedestrian zone entrances, so we could walk straight into the action. Whenever we were ready, a quick message to Filippo and he was there, waiting for us.
The van was always immaculate, cool, and comfortable, which was a blessing in the hot summer weather. Filippo offered us chilled water, which we truly appreciated, so we didn’t need to worry about carrying anything around. He was respectful of our space, making us feel at ease throughout the day.
During our visit to Catania, Filippo recommended Trattoria Da Antonio, a hidden gem where locals go for authentic pasta alla norma. It was off the beaten path and had a cozy atmosphere—definitely not a tourist trap. He also mentioned a family-owned seafood place in Taormina called La Taverna del Marinaio, where we enjoyed fresh fish with a stunning view. We were free to relax and enjoy the drive, and the whole day felt like a VIP experience. Truly professional and considerate service!

A perfect Etna wine day with a private van - We booked Filippo for a full-day private van service around Mount Etna, with the vehicle entirely at our disposal. We started with a scenic drive through small Etnean villages, stopping for photos and a quick espresso, before heading to Cottanera for a relaxed tasting on their beautiful estate. Later, Filippo drove us to Zafferana Etnea to visit Petra Niura Etna, a tiny new winery run by passionate young producers, where we tried their small-batch volcanic wines.
Filippo was calm, professional, and very patient the whole day. The country roads can be narrow and bumpy, but he handled the large van confidently, and was always flexible when we wanted to change the timing or stay longer. Arriving everywhere in a sleek black van with a dedicated driver felt safe, easy, and a little bit VIP. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy Etna’s wines without worrying about driving or logistics.

Safe, stylish, and super patient! - We booked the van disposal for a day of wine tasting around Mount Etna. We wanted to visit three different wineries and obviously didn't want to drive ourselves.
​Filippo was fantastic. The wineries are on some pretty rough/narrow country roads, but he navigated them perfectly with the large van. We ended up staying longer at the second winery because we were having such a good time, and he never rushed us or checked his watch. He just smiled and said "take your time."
​It felt very VIP pulling up to the vineyards in such a luxurious black vehicle. Great value for a group of friends who want to enjoy the wine without worrying about the logistics. Highly recommended!

Impeccable service. Made exploring effortless. - We hired the van for a full day to visit Syracuse (Ortigia) and Noto. We like to explore on our own without a guide, but we knew parking in these historic towns is a nightmare.
​Filippo made it so easy. He dropped us off right at the entrance of the pedestrian zones (ZTL), so we didn't walk an extra step, and was just a WhatsApp message away when we were ready to be picked up. The van was always cool and clean when we got back in, which was a lifesaver in the July heat. He provided cold water which was great and we did't have to carry bottles with us.
​He was also very respectful of our privacy, friendly, he gave us great tips on where to eat, but he respected our quite time, letting us just relax and enjoy the drive. A true professional chauffeur service.

A gem for my VIP clients! Finally a reliable partner in Sicily. - ​​As a luxury travel agent based in the US, I am extremely careful about who I trust with my high-end clients. I found this service on Viator while looking for a specific transfer solution from Taormina to Palermo with a stop in Cefalù, and I am so glad I did.
​My clients are very demanding and required a top-tier vehicle and flawless execution. Filippo delivered 100%. He picked them up in a pristine, high-end Mercedes van and the clients reported that the drive was incredibly smooth. They managed to enjoy a leisurely visit and lunch in Cefalù before being dropped off perfectly on time at their hotel in Palermo.

Skip the big bus tours, this is the only way to do it. - We were docked in Messina for the day and almost booked a generic shore excursion. Thank God we didn't. The difference is night and day.
The drive up to Mount Etna is long and the roads get very winding. While we saw big buses struggling on the turns, Filippo got us there smoothly in the Mercedes van. It was super quiet and comfortable, which matters when you're in the car for a few hours.
Erika, our guide, honestly made the day. Etna can be overwhelming with all the tourists, but she knew exactly where to go to get the best views without fighting for space. She explained the geology in a way that was actually interesting, not boring. Then we headed to Taormina. Honestly, the town was packed, but having a private drop-off point saved us so much walking and hassle. Erika recommended a spot for lunch away from the main tourist trap street, and the pasta was fantastic.
If you want to see these places without the headache of logistics and crowds, just book with them. Worth the extra money for the peace of mind.

Erika and Filippo made history come alive (and the luxury van with A/C was a lifesaver!) - I’ve been to Italy a few times, but this was my first time in Sicily. We wanted to hit the highlights (Etna and Taormina) but on our own schedule.
What I appreciated most was the flexibility. We spent a bit longer at the Silvestri Craters because the weather was perfect, and Filippo and Erika were totally fine with adjusting the timeline. You can't do that on a group tour. Erika is incredibly knowledgeable, she didn’t just give us the standard script. We talked about the recent eruptions, the vegetation, the history and local traditions with real depth.
Taormina is absolutely stunning, but remember, it's hot in the summer. Getting back into Filippo’s immaculate, cool van after walking the ruins was the best feeling. It was clean, new, i had rhe opportunity to charge my phone after a whole day taking pictures. He also always had cold water ready for us.
It felt like hanging out with knowledgeable local friends rather than a stiff guided tour. Highly professional, Erika's English is perfect, and zero stress. Book your day with them, trust me, you won't regret it!

Custom tour from Messina to Syracuse & Ortigia - We got off the ship in Messina really wanting to go to Syracuse, but nobody seemed to offer that tour from there. Then we found Filippo – lifesaver.
He set us up with a private van just for our group of 6 (3 couples), and made the whole thing happen. We didn’t just visit Syracuse, we also got to swing by Ortigia to say hi to some friends, which made the day even more special.
We already knew Taormina and wanted something different and more personal, and Filippo totally delivered. Super customized, zero stress, and exactly what we were looking for. If you want something off the standard cruise-ship route, hit up Filippo – he’ll make it work.
