The adventure starts with a picturesque drive up the slopes of Etna to the renowned Sapienza Refuge, situated at 1,986 meters. Surrounded by striking volcanic scenery, participants will explore intriguing craters and recent lava fields from the volcano’s latest eruptions.
Guided by a certified nature expert, participants will venture into the subterranean world of an authentic lava cave, equipped with a helmet and headlamp.
Enjoy a leisurely stop at a local products store located on Etna’s fertile slopes. Sample Sicilian delicacies such as local honey and olive oil.

Amazing - For me it was a dream to meet the Etna. But the guide Eduardo managed to exceed all my expectations in this experience. Super gentle, well informed... I couldn't imagine it would be such an amazing experience.

Experience not to be missed - Wonderful experience, we were taken in the morning under the house and at 9 am we were at the Sapienza refuge. From there Francesco, our guide, accompanied us on a walk of about 2 hours between the snow and the spectacular landscape of Etna! The walk lasts 2 hours because Francesco explained so many things to us, it is absolutely not tiring and we also had not planned this excursion so we had simple sneakers and jeans and we had no problems. After the walk we stopped at the refuge for a quick lunch and then we continued to the lava cave, beautiful experience too! Then in an estate for tasting, perhaps the least beautiful part because it is not as suggestive as the previous ones but still pleasant. At 4:00 p.m. we were under the house. We did this excursion with 4 teenage boys not easy to amaze and get interested but they came back excited! Francesco drives very kind and nice, this morning we realized we forgot gloves in the bus and tonight he came home to bring them back.... versely speechless! Thanks again for the beautiful day and for convincing me to join the walk!

Great hike with Enzo - Enzo was a great guide. He is very knowledgeable about everything about Mt Etna, as well as talking about a lot of interesting facts about Sicily. He really helps us to understand the shine of Sicily and explore the beauty of the mountains. Thanks very much for the experience.

Etna on a windy day. - Couldn't ask for a better guide, Florence is very knowledgeable and friendly.
She made the group feel like we all knew each other for a long time, and even on a windy day she managed to show us all the important things you have to see.
The tasting experience is a thing you have to do!!!
Friendly staff, and all the products are blowing your mind!!!

Great tour! - Took my 73 year old mother and it was a great tour! Our guide was very nice and went above and beyond with assisting my mother in the tough spots. The hiking was definitely doable and not difficult i would say easy to moderate. The tasting was very minimal almost 10 bites. So you would need to pay to order food if you are hungry after the hike. Overall great tour to see the volcano.
