• Mount Etna - Spend the day discovering one of the world’s most beautiful and active Volcanoes during this small-group trip to Mt. Etna. Depart in the morning from Catania and head to Rifugio Sapienza at Etna’s base. Travel by cable car and off-road vehicle up to the volcano’s craters, and go for a hike at 3000 meters!

Join a naturalist guide in Catania for a journey to the northern side of Mount Etna. Upon arrival at Piano Provenzana, known for being less crowded, embark on a special 4x4 vehicle to ascend to the summit area at 2950 meters. Enjoy a moderate hike with the guidance of both a naturalist and a licensed volcanological guide, the latter being essential for excursions at this height. Please be aware that the 4x4 ascent fee of €70 per person is not included in the tour price and should be paid directly to your guide on the day of the tour.

Enhance your adventure by exploring one of Mount Etna’s intriguing volcanic caves, with helmets and headlamps provided for safety. At lunchtime, unwind at a local winery on Mount Etna’s slopes, savoring a light meal of traditional Sicilian dishes paired with a tasting of two Etna DOC wines.

Winter itinerary (January–March): Due to snow, access to the area may require a snowcat, costing an additional €30 per person.

• English and Italian guide are always available, French and Spanish are subject to availability. Upon booking, we will confirm you if the language required is available.
• Guests need to wear trekking shoes and bring a jacket. We can provide trekking shoes and jackets for free at the moment of the booking if requested.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult

• Please note that the cable car and 4x4 tickets are not included in the price: you will pay the ticket directly to your guide on the day of the tour (70€).
