Be surprised - and it's great - Actually, the day before our trip home , until we were in Taormina, my daughter and I wanted to spend a second day there - the crowds I had escaped from in my hometown Munich/Octoberfest caught up with us there. Around 11 pm we booked this sailing tour spontaneously. Just the right people (same attitude) met the 'right' skipper at the right time. We 8 guests, the sailor and Gioele our captain. The trip was not a cuddly ride - the sea was rough, so roller coaster feeling even without Oktoberfest. 😂 Nevertheless we got our 🥂 - we got stuck in the table. The appetizers flew - was very embarrassing to the sailor. The water rats among us could also take a bath in a more sheltered bay. Gioele informed us in detail about the coastlines and was able to answer all the questions asked about Etna , sailing, etc. 👍 (me also in Franconian😉 because I am not so good at English) Towards the end of the trip he suggested that he would like to offer us food and drink again. Well, and so we sat together on board, rattling, laughing, enjoying cheese, sausage, olives etc Can you end a wonderful holiday even better?😉

A trip worthwhile! - An extensive boat tour with snorkeling and Sicilian specialties. It was excellent and I can only recommend it!

Smooth sailing - Smooth sailing along the coast with lots of interesting stories from the two pilots! They told us how Mt Etna is the safest volcanic bc it is constantly erupting.

Sicilian Sailing - Spent a lovely afternoon sailing north along the coast from Catania to Aci Reale. Water was calm but had opportunities to put up the sail and cut the engine. Views of the coastal towns and Mount Etna were amazing and provided a different perspective. We had 2 opportunities for swimming in the crystal clear blue waters at a depth of 190 metres. While on board we were provided with refreshments including Prosecco, beer, soft drink and water, accompanied by cheeses, salami, olives and crackers. Our crew were very engaged with all onboard and shared historical information with us. Could only be better if the sun was shining. Thanks Carlotta and Joel.

Absolutely to do - Special!!! We have just returned from a sunset sailing trip on the Catanese coast. Despite the sea was not really in its best shape, thanks to Sofia and Francesco we spent a magical afternoon. Between stories, laughter, dolphins and a delicious aperitif, really a day to remember!

Sailing trip off the coast of Catania - Friday morning the sailing trip done and had a fantastic time with Yasmine and Davide the skipper. Yasmine has a lot of knowledge and tells beautiful stories about the Sicilian landscape and sea, Davide is a skilled friendly captain with top stories. The snorkeling and the snacks and drinks were delicious. All in all a big 10! Absolutely recommended

Leisurely boat cruise - Lovely boat ride and swim in the bay of Catania. Very friendly crew who were happy to chat and tell us about the history of Catania.

Rocky, adventurous and beautiful - It was an exceptional bright day so we could see the whole of the Etna, which was beautiful. The crew, Carlotta and the captain were very friendly and knowledgable and our travelcompany was great too (a couple from Poland, a couple from San Diego, a mother and daughter from Germany and us). The weather was quite windy so the boat rocked like crazy, and in the end the crew admitted it to being ‘one of the more rocky ‘rides’’. But it all went well and added to the feeling of being part of an adventure 😝. They poured Prosecco generously (to take our edge off probably haha) and back in the harbour served some aperitif snacks which were tasty, and also some Limoncello. I recommend them, but if you’re with a smaller child or get seasick easily, make sure to pick wisely :)

Great tour but overbooked - This is a beautiful boat trip with swimming and delicious Sicilian Hors d’oeuvres and sparkling wine. Captain and crew were terrific. The only downside is that they booked 14 people when seating capacity of boat in shade is 8-10. Also I didn’t see any life jackets and the snorkel equipment was minimal.

Poor value for money - Disaster mainly due to the weather but down to poor decisions made by the skipper. We sailed way too far in poor conditions, only had one swim in rolling seas, no food. Hzvkng paid up front for the cruise, on arrival at the port we found We had to pay another €10 each for the pleasure of having a skipper on board, which is obviously essential. Disgraceful. Not recommended.
