Excellent Experience in St Lucia! A must do! - We only caught small fish and was hoping for something much bigger but the experience was wonderful. First time for us. A little more hands-on would be nice

Professional & Fun! - Our family had an amazing time fishing with Tony & Howard from Captain Mike's! The boat was nice & spacious and we all took turns in the captain's chair. They were great guides and with their help, we were able to catch 2 Mahi, 1 Rainbow Runner, and 1 barracuda. They fileted the Mahi & Rainbow Runner perfectly, making for delicious eating the next few days. We will definitely go with Captain Mike's next time we are in St. Lucia!

Fishing with friends - The captain and deck hand were nice but I was disappointed when they took us back to port 45 minutes early. Not sure if it was because we weren’t catching anything of the captain had a date but we only got about 3 hours of fishing in.

No fish, grumpy crew - Fishing is not just about trying to catch fish. Its an experience. If the drew are not talkative or even worse, grumpy and rude, then it is not a pleasant experience.

P&O Deep Sea Rip Off - Uninspiring, this was my first trip the captain gave a speech about fishing not catching but then did not speak through the entire 3.5 hours the first mate was clearly new as the captain looked mainly disappointed with him. No explication of what we were using how we were fishing just…. Sit in the chair for 10 mins in turns there were 6 of us and I sat in the chair 2 times 20 mins fishing for £180. I don’t care about catching but at least make it fishing. The speech should say “waiting not fishing” Such a shame as it could have been fun even without catching. We then gave up and headed back with 45 mins to spare. Waste of money

Not what you think - they are selling a fishing “experience” not actually trying to get you fish. the ocean was so rough everyone on the boat was sick. 0/10 honestly will never do again

Not suitable for cruise passengers - Tour was listed as cruise friendly. I provided the ship's arrival time when I booked the tour and received confirmation (in May). I contacted the operator several weeks before the tour to confirm our arrival time in port and other details of our excursion and got no reply, twice. Finally, I received confirmation the day before our tour. The following morning, I got a call at 7:40 am asking where we were. Our ship didn't dock until 8:00, and there is time between docking and when passengers are allowed to disembark. I explained that - again - and was told they wouldn't wait for us. We did get a refund, but we'd been looking forward to this tour for months, and it was a real disappointment and VERY poorly handled.

Not for cruisers - If you are traveling on a cruise ship and arrive at 800 or later, do not book this excursion. The boat would not wait for us, even though I sent confirmation emails several times that included our ship's arrival time. We got a phone call at 740 asking where we were, and our ship hadn't docked yet. We were very unhappy, as this would have been the experience of a lifetime for us. We did receive a refund, but communication was lousy. Not what we expected from such a well regarded tour company.
