- Camino los Alares - We continue to the first stop, a local farm dedicated to the production of Canarian products. We will be able to enjoy a tasting of different types of homemade goat cheese, as well as the animals and nature that surrounds us. It is the ideal place to take a short break and gain strength to continue the tour.
- Las Salinas - We head towards the second stop, in the Barranco de la Torre, in the beautiful fishing town of Las Salinas. We will be able to enjoy panoramic views of the ocean and the popular Torre ravine.
- Costa de Antigua - We will drive through the interior of the town of Costa de Antigua
- Caleta de Fuste - Finally we return to Caleta de Fuste along the coast. We will pass through the coastal town of Costa de Antigua and we will take the highway of the maritime avenue to our starting point.

Starting from Caleta de Fuste, the journey takes you to Barranco de la Torre, passing through the charming fishing village of Las Salinas del Carmen, where you can see a preserved whale skeleton and visit the Salt Museum.
The adventure continues to a local estate in Los Alares, where you can savor the island’s famous goat cheese.
Next, the tour heads to Matorral Beach, near the airport, offering a perfect spot for capturing beautiful photos.
Finally, the route crosses the coastal village of Costa de Antigua, driving along the sea, until reaching the final destination in Caleta de Fuste.
Each buggy has a weight limit of 200kg. If the combined weight of two people exceeds this limit, two single buggies must be selected.

Customers who do not have a pick-up at their hotel must go to our office. You will see a sign with the name of Fuerte Explorer, we are 2 meters (left) from the reception of the Villa Florida apartments. They must go downstairs and present their reservation at the counter.

A "must do" experience - We can't recommend this experience enough. From the wonderful briefing at the beginning in 4 languages due to the mix of people taking part, to the knowledgeable staff regarding the buggies and the area it was a really great day.

Unforgettable Buggy Safari Adventure with Fuerte Explorer! - If you’re in Caleta de Fuste and looking for an unforgettable experience, I can’t recommend the Buggy Safari with Fuerte Explorer enough! From start to finish, the entire adventure was perfectly organized and executed. The team at Fuerte Explorer goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly — from booking to briefing to the ride itself.
The buggies are well-maintained and easy to handle, and the routes take you through some absolutely stunning and rugged parts of the island you wouldn’t see otherwise. It’s the perfect mix of adrenaline, breathtaking scenery, and fun. Whether you’re an off-road enthusiast or just looking for something exciting to do, this experience checks all the boxes.
What really stood out was how professional and friendly the guides were — they made everyone feel safe and welcomed while still keeping the adventure level high. You can tell that Fuerte Explorer truly cares about delivering a top-quality experience.

A must do in Calete de Fuste - Just ended our buggy safari. WOW!! Fantastic fun.
To start, they came and collected us from hotel. This is a very nice touch. They offered us a lift back afterwards, but, we decided to stay in town for a drink.
So, you start at the office. You're given a satiety brief by the guide. I'll come back to him in a moment.
Them, a short walk round to the buggies.
Another quick, well presented brief on how they work and the does and donts. And thats it... you're off.
You start around the streets of Calete de Fuste. This is exciting if you've never driven on the right (wrong 😂) side of the road.
Then you head out on the main road before hitting the off roading.
This was so much fun. Very dusty, as expected. Make sure you wear a bandana and sunglasses.
We were taken to a kind of farm to see some goats, birds, donkeys and a very friendly camal. You get to fee them too. All free.
Then, we headed of for a glimpse at one of the islands volcanos, before our next stop at a very picturesque place by the salt museum. Im not sure the volcano part was technically part of the excusion, but Gilberto, our guide decided it was good to get a little closer for a better view.
So.. Gilberto.. our guide.
One of the nicest, friendliest guys you will ever meet! Very knowledgeable and always happy to take pics of us at every stop. He also made sure we all stayed safe on our trip.
This business and Gilberto definitely get a 10/10 rating from us.
We are coming back to the island next year and will definitely do this again.

Great ride - A buggy ride on top with a great guide
Change of scenery guaranteed
Do not forget the scarf and sunglasses and also a backpack to store phones and other objects do not keep anything in the pockets otherwise insured loss

Wonderful Day Out - My husband and I had a fantastic tour driving the buggy. The safety briefing was excellent and very thorough. We drove in convoy through Caleta de Fuste and out on the main road. I was a wee bit apprehensive as I’d never driven on the wrong side of the road nor a dune buggy but it was just fine! We drove off the road and on to a bumpy stoney dirt track and I loved it! The two stops were lovely - a goat farm including cafe and then a very picturesque photo spot. We both had a ball and would thoroughly recommend it!

Great experience - would recommend it and will be doing it again when back in Fuerteventura. - This was the first buggy experience that my daughter and her boyfriend went on. The tour started in Caleta de Fuste and the guide took them on an amazing afternoon trek. They took in a goat farm and went to the small cove at Salinas. The guide for the afternoon was Gilberto and he was very knowledgable and spoke multiple languages as the group was mixed nationalities. It was a great experience and they said that they would recommend it.

One of the highlights of our trip - We loved the riding in the buggies. The views weee beautiful, our guide was great and the stops enjoyable. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip.

Amazing buggy experience!! - We had a fantastic time with this buggy safari! The guide carefully explained the safety rules in a friendly and professional manner. Driving on the main roads and off road at speed was exhilarating. Guide took us to a lovely little farm with a chance to taste some cheeses and have a cup of tea. The guide was very informative and gave us some history of the area before we left to go on to a cliff edge from where you could see North Africa in the distance. We took some great photos! I would love to do this again ! I would recommend booking with this company!!
