• Azienda Agricola Villa Simone - With roots in the Marche region, this family-run business expanded to Frascati in 1982 when Piero Costantini acquired Bishop Pallotta’s vineyards in Monte Porzio Catone to craft prestigious wines. Now led by Lorenzo Costantini, a passionate Lazio winemaker, the company believes in Frascati’s potential. The unique terroir of Castelli Romani enhances the wines, with ideal conditions for cultivating the native Malvasia Puntinata variety. The aim is to produce a Frascati wine with 80% Malvasia del Lazio, reflecting the area’s distinctiveness.

You will journey through the enchanting Roman countryside and visit two villages in the area known as the Roman Castles. So, what is the Castelli Romani or Roman Castles area?

The Castelli Romani region encompasses the entire geographical area southeast of Rome, around the Colli Albani, consisting of a group of villages and towns partly within the territory of Latium Vetus, the Ancient Lazio region, surrounded by the Roman countryside. The operator possesses extensive knowledge of the area’s history and features, and can assist with the local language, offer advice, and provide information about local food, shopping, and more.
