First Time visit to Sintra - First of all this tour gave us far more than we ever imagined. Maria was an excellent leader and guide and she made sure we were always safe. We discovered and saw sights in the Sintra area from old town Sintra, to forests, back roads, mountain tops and beach’s. It was a wonderful full day of adventure. We biked over 50 km’s stopping for a coffee break and a lunch break all the perfect time. This is one of our most memorable and enjoyable guided tours we have been a part of. Would highly recommend.

Highlight of my trip to Portugal / Sintra - Absolutely amazing experience. Let's set the sights and views aside for now, but Maria, my tour guide, was absolutely amazing. She spent the entire trip providing what I can only call generational knowledge about the city, its landmarks, Portuguese customs and culture etc. After the tour, I basically felt I could move there and actually fit in once I learned the language. I've been on many guided tours and even bike tours in my life, and this was by far one of the most informative and enjoyable I've been to. Now for the fun and beauty of it. Sintra is an absolutely stunning city, and getting to climb the hills, go through the national forest, and end the trip along the coast line is pretty hard to beat. It is a relatively long trip, but the motors on the bike do make it fairly easy, though some effort and attention is required to climb the hills. But believe me when I say the views, and just the experience of going through the national forest and exploring the coast line, was a highlight of my trip and would highly recommend it to anyone relatively active/comfortable on a bike.

The highlight of our trip to Lisbon - This was the highlight of our trip Lisbon. The tour takes you through beautiful scenery, from the hills of Sintra, over the mountain to the beaches of the Cascais area. Our guide Maria was nice and accommodating. Since it was myself and my partner on the tour, we were able to decide if we wanted to go off road or on road for part of the journey - we chose off road, and it was so beautiful, so nice to see countryside/hinterland that we would never have gotten the chance to see. Off road was a bit more challenging of a cycle versus road so would say it's not for the faint of heart. Overall, would fully recommend the tour!

E-bike tour Sintra and Cascais - Great experience touring Sintra and the coast to Cascais. Our ride leader Maria was excellent - knowledgeable, patient, and maintained a good balance of stops and rests throughout the day. The e-MTB bikes were in good condition and well suited for the multi-surface terrain (road, fire-road, trail, bike path) we encountered during the ride.

Highlight of my holiday!! - This experience was easily a highlight of my Lisbon holiday. I was travelling solo, and as it happened, I had the whole tour to myself — which made it feel wonderfully personal. The route was stunning: winding through the forests and mountains of Sintra before opening out onto the gorgeous coastline at Cascais. I chose to focus on the cycling and the natural scenery rather than visiting the palaces, and it was absolutely the right call. Maria was exceptional. Attentive throughout, impressively knowledgeable about the history and each of the stops, and refreshingly flexible when it came to adapting the itinerary on the fly, she even helped research lunch options along the way, which was such a thoughtful touch. I had the best time. Couldn't recommend it more highly.

A tour to never forget!... - A tour to never forget! We cycled about 30km during the whole trip, so it’s not only fun, but also a workout. Be prepared for rough terrain when you go off road, so a more experienced cyclist may benefit from this tour. Overall a super fun day that we will never forget.

It’s an all day... - This was a great tour and really glad we chose to do it given we only had a short stay in Lisbon. We were able to see as much of Sintra and Cascais as we could in one day - the perfect way to combine site seeing with adventure. Miguel is a legend!

Miguel is an outstanding... - Miguel is an outstanding guide! He is very passionate about combining cycling, beautiful locations, and fascinating historical info. The electric assist bikes were a lot of fun to ride. Our journey took us both on and off roads with plenty of spectacular views. Loved this ride.

Great day on an e-bike. - Miguel did an excellent job, unfortunately my wife was not able to join us. She had a stomach problem after Sunday dinner, unfortunately it happened less than 24 hrs before are tour, not allowing me to cancel her reservation. Certainly more challenging than we expected, not really suitable for people without biking experience.

Could be better - Beautiful country. We spent about 6 hrs overall on the bikes and covered a little of the country. ( Didn’t actually go into any of the buildings. ). Be aware that, even using the E bikes, a couple of the older people in our group did get REALLY tired The bikes were in good condition and the guide, Miguel (owner) was very knowledgeable. However, his style of leadership made things very difficult. He yelled at us a lot.
