Day 1: Casablanca - Rabat (1-hour drive, excluding stops)
Casablanca - The Moroccan private tour begins with a pickup from the airport in Casablanca (depending on your arrival, it could be Marrakech or Rabat). In Casablanca, the first stop is the Cornish on the Atlantic coast and the iconic Hassan II Mosque, designed by French architect Michel Pinceau. If your flight arrives early, you can join a guided group tour of the Hassan II Mosque, which is perched dramatically on a rocky outcrop overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Its minaret is the tallest in the world, and the mosque’s stunning architecture is the result of over 6,000 Moroccan artisans’ craftsmanship.
Rabat - Depart for Rabat for lunch at a restaurant, followed by a guided walk around Oudaya’s Kasbah, built by Moulay Ismail from 1672 to 1727 to protect the city. Next, explore the Hassan Tower, a massive mosque, and visit the beautiful Mausoleum of Mohammed V, known for its stained glass windows, white marble, and wrought-iron entryway. After a busy first day, enjoy a restful night at a hotel in Rabat.
Day 2: Rabat - Meknes - Volubilis - Fez (3-hour drive)
Meknes - After breakfast, continue the Moroccan tour towards Meknes, one of Morocco’s four imperial cities, built by Sultan Moulay Ismail (1672-1727). Meknes was intended to be the capital of Morocco, and its imperial palace, city walls, and kasbahs highlight its historical significance. Meknes offers many attractions, including El-Hddim Square, Bab El Mansour gate, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, the imperial palace, and the royal granaries and stables.
Conservation du site Archéologique de Volubilis - Leaving Meknes, arrive shortly at Volubilis, the Roman Empire ruins in North Africa. Nearby, visit the sacred village of Moulay Idriss, founded by Moulay Idriss I, considered the origin of Moroccan imperial history. Enjoy a walk around the village or a trek in the charming countryside, followed by lunch with views of the Roman ruins.
Fez - The journey continues to Fez in the late afternoon/evening. Enjoy dinner and a relaxing night in accommodation within the medina of Fez.
Day 3: Fez - Guided Tour of the City (No drive)
Medina of Fez - At dawn, explore the UNESCO-protected Fez Medina with a private guide. The guide will help navigate the city, showcasing its monuments, vibrant souks, the Qarawiyyin Mosque/university, Chouara Tannery, Bab Jeloud gates, and many other fascinating sights. Day 4: Fez - Ifrane - Azrou - Midelt - Merzouga - Erg Chebbi (7-hour drive)

The journey first passes through the Atlas Mountains to Ifrane, often called the ‘Switzerland of Morocco,’ bustling during the snow season as it is the main ski resort in Morocco. Next is Azrou, a forested village surrounded by mountains, home to the Barbary Macaque. Leaving the Atlas Mountains, head south toward the Sahara gateway, Merzouga, passing by Midelt, a Berber village known for its apple, apricot, and plum production. A few hours later, arrive in Erfoud, the home for the night, where the landscape changes sharply - the Sahara is near. Enjoy dinner, relax, and prepare for more excitement.

Experience an adrenaline rush cruising the vast dunes with quads and try sandboarding. Continue to the desert camp, where you will meet a camel caravan. Trade your vehicle for camels and enjoy a 1-hour trek on the sand dunes during sunset, the perfect time for photos. At the Bivouac, enjoy a lovely atmosphere with Berber music, drums, a traditional dinner, and a private Berber tent under the starry desert sky.
Day 6: Erg Chebbi - Tinejdad - Todra Gorges - Tinerir - Dades (4-5 hour drive)
Todgha Gorge - Wake up to witness the sunrise, another tour highlight. Have breakfast back at the Kasbah by the dunes in Merzouga. The first destination is Rissani, a city that served as a caravan trading post until a century ago, historically known for its gold and slave auctions. It was a crucial route connecting North Africa and the southern Saharan countries. Head to the Atlas Mountains towards Tinghir, one of Morocco’s most beautiful oases, surrounded by mountains and canyons. Drive to the top of Dades Valley for a stunning view over the valley and mountain gorge. Head toward Todra Valley, a contrasting valley with rocky canyons and huge palm trees, perfect for photo stops.
