DAY 1: CASABLANCA

Casablanca - Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Before settling in, visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco and one of the largest in the world. Overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 2: CASABLANCA – RABAT – CHEFCHAOUEN

Chefchaouen - After breakfast, depart for Rabat to explore the Kasbah of the Udayas, Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V. Continue your journey to Chefchaouen, renowned for its enchanting blue hues. Overnight stay in Chefchaouen.

DAY 3: CHEFCHAOUEN - VOLUBILIS - FES

Fes - Following breakfast, travel towards Fes via Volubilis, an ancient Roman city. After exploring its rich history, proceed to Fes, arriving around 4 PM. Enjoy an overnight stay in a charming riad.

DAY 4: FES CITY TOUR

Fes - After breakfast, embark on a full-day guided tour of the city with an English-speaking guide. Discover the royal city, starting with the old medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1981, and the ruins of the Marinid Tombs. Visit the Bou Inania and Al-Attarine madrasas, built in the early 14th century, the Karaouine Mosque, and the Nejjarine Fountain. Enjoy lunch at a traditional Moroccan restaurant. In the afternoon, explore the ornate Bab Bou Jeloud gate, the royal palace, and the souk, where artisans sell handmade jewelry, leather goods, copper items, and pottery.

DAY 5: FES - IFRANE - MIDELT - MERZOUGA DESERT

Merzouga Desert - At 8 AM, depart from the hotel and head to Merzouga, crossing the Middle Atlas, a 350-kilometer mountain range. Pass through cities like Ifrane, known as “Moroccan Switzerland” for its architecture, and Azrou, a prominent Berber city. Traverse the Ziz Valley and gorges, passing through Midelt and Erfoud. From Erfoud, take a desert track to Merzouga. Overnight stay at a hotel near the desert entrance.

DAY 6: MERZOUGA DESERT - VISIT A NOMAD FAMILY

Merzouga Desert - Spend the day enjoying the breathtaking Eastern Sahara. Venture into the desert, visit nomadic villages, see oases, and cross the Erg Chebbi dunes. Visit the renowned village of Khamlia, home to the Gnawa people, descendants of African slaves, and enjoy their captivating folk music. At sunset, return to the hotel to ride camels to a Berber camp in the heart of the dunes, where you will dine and spend the night.

DAY 7: MERZOUGA DESERT - ERFOUD - TODGHA GORGES - DADES VALLEY

Dades Gorges - After breakfast, continue the journey to Boumalne Dades (Dades Gorges). Arrive in Rissani, the capital of the Tafilalet region, and explore the animal market and souk. Proceed through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud to visit a fossil quarry and witness the transformation of fossils into exquisite art pieces, such as tables and washbasins. Continue to the Dades Gorges for an overnight stay. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

DAY 8: DADES VALLEY - OUARZAZATE - AIT BEN HADDOU - MARRAKECH

Marrakech - In the morning, visit the famous Dades Gorges. Enjoy the stunning landscapes, where lush oases are nourished by the Dades River. The valley narrows, revealing impressive limestone formations known as the “Dades Gorges,” a visual delight. Continue the journey, passing the Amgoun mountain, the Valley of Roses, and the Skoura palm grove with its kasbahs. Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 9: MARRAKECH CITY TOUR WITH A LOCAL GUIDE

Marrakech - Embark on a sightseeing tour of exotic Marrakech. Visit the city’s architectural marvels: the intricate Granada-style Saadian Tombs, the magnificent Bahia Palace, the renowned Ben Youssef Madrasa, and the iconic Koutoubia Minaret, a hallmark of Islamic architecture. Enjoy lunch at Ksar El Hamra, then visit the Majorelle Garden. In the evening, transfer to Casablanca airport or spend the night in Marrakech, depending on your flight departure time on the 10th day.

Marrakech - On this day, transfer to either Casablanca or Marrakech airport.
