DAY 1: CASABLANCA

Casablanca - Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel. Before settling in, visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Morocco and one of the largest in the world. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

DAY 2: CASABLANCA – RABAT – Chefchaouen

Chefchaouen - After breakfast, depart for Rabat to explore the Kasbah Oudaïas, Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohamed V. Continue your journey to Chefchaouen, an imperial city renowned for its enchanting blue hues. Spend the night in Chefchaouen.

DAY 3: Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Fes

Fes - Following breakfast, travel towards Fes via Volubilis, an ancient Roman city. After exploring the historical site, proceed to Fes, arriving around 4 PM. Enjoy an overnight stay in a charming riad.

DAY 4: FES City Tour

Fes - After breakfast, embark on a full-day guided tour of the city with an English-speaking guide. Discover the royal city, starting with the old medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1981, and the ruins of the Mérinides tombs. Visit the Bouanania and Attarine madrasas, the Karaouine Mosque, and the Nejjarine marble fountain. Enjoy lunch at a traditional Moroccan restaurant. In the afternoon, explore the Boujloud Gate, the royal palace, and the souk, where artisans sell handmade jewelry, leather goods, copper items, and pottery.

DAY 5: Fes - Ifrane - Midelt - Merzouga Desert

Merzouga Desert - At 8 AM, depart from the hotel and head to Merzouga, crossing the Middle Atlas, a 350-kilometer mountain range. Pass through cities like Ifrane, known as “Moroccan Switzerland” for its architecture, and Azrou, a notable Berber city. Traverse the Ziz Valley and gorges, passing through Midelt and Erfoud. From Erfoud, take a desert track to Merzouga, where you will spend the night at a hotel near the desert entrance.

DAY 6: Merzouga Desert - Visit a Nomad Family

Merzouga Desert - Dedicate the day to experiencing the breathtaking Eastern Sahara. Explore the desert, visit nomadic villages, see oases, and cross the Erg Chebbi dunes. Visit the renowned village of Khamlia, home to the Gnawa, descendants of African slaves, and enjoy their captivating folk music. At sunset, return to the hotel to ride camels to a Berber camp in the heart of the dunes, where you will dine and spend the night.

DAY 7: MERZOUGA DESERT - ERFOUD - TOUDGHA GORGES - DADES VALLEY

Dades Gorges - After breakfast, continue the journey to Boulmane Dades (Gorges du Dades). Arrive in Rissani, the capital of the Tafilalet region, and explore the animal market and souk. Proceed through the Ziz Valley to Erfoud to visit a fossil quarry and witness the transformation of fossils into exquisite art pieces, such as tables and washbasins. Continue to the Dades Gorges for an overnight stay. Enjoy dinner and a night at the hotel.

DAY 8: DADES VALLEY - OUARZAZATE - AIT BEN HADDOU - MARRAKECH

Marrakesh - In the morning, visit the famous Dades Gorges. Marvel at the stunning landscapes, where lush oases are nourished by the Dades River. The valley narrows, revealing a series of limestone formations with towering walls, “Dadès Gorges,” a visual delight. Continue the journey, passing the Amgoun mountain, the Valley of Roses, and the Skoura palm grove with its kasbahs. Arrive in Marrakech in the afternoon and transfer to the hotel.

DAY 9: MARRAKECH CITY TOUR WITH A LOCAL GUIDE

Marrakech - Enjoy a sightseeing tour of exotic Marrakech. Visit the city’s architectural highlights: the intricate Granada-style Saadian Tombs, the magnificent Bahia Palace, the renowned Medersa Ben Youssef, and the iconic Koutoubia Minaret, a hallmark of Islamic architecture. Lunch at Ksar el Hamra, followed by a visit to the Majorelle Garden. Conclude the day at the famous Djemaa El Fna square, a vibrant stage for acrobats, drummers, musicians, dancers, storytellers, comedians, and fairground acts. Dinner at leisure and overnight at the hotel.

In the evening, transfer to Casablanca airport or spend the night in Marrakech, depending on your flight departure time on the 10th day.
