CASABLANCA AIRPORT - RABAT - CHEFCHAOUEN

Casablanca - Upon arrival in Morocco, the operator will greet guests at the airport and commence the journey with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca. Following this, the group will travel to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco, for a guided city tour lasting a few hours. Highlights include the Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Hassan Tower, the minaret of an unfinished mosque initiated by the Almohad ruler, Yaacoub al-Mansour. The day concludes with a transfer to Chefchaouen, where dinner and overnight accommodations await at the hotel.

CHEFCHAOUEN - VOLUBILIS - MOULAY DRISS - MEKNES - FES

Chefchaouen - Guests will spend three hours in the morning exploring the picturesque town of Chefchaouen, nestled in the Rif Mountains and renowned for its vibrant blue-washed buildings. As they wander through the narrow cobbled streets and medina walls, they will observe men in woolen Djellabas and women in colorful straw hats. The journey from Chefchaouen to Moulay Idriss near Volubilis takes approximately three hours. Upon arrival, the group will explore the Roman ruins and the sacred town of Moulay Idriss. After a tour of the impressive Roman city site, there will be time to visit the small, sacred town where Morocco’s first Arab conquerors settled. The day continues with a visit to Meknes to explore some of the Imperial city’s attractions before proceeding to Fes for dinner and an overnight stay.

FES SIGHTSEEING

Fes - Following breakfast, a full-day city tour of Fes with a local guide is planned. The itinerary includes Jamaa Al-Karaouine, the world’s first established university, and the Medersa Bouanania, as well as the tanneries, clay workshops, artisan quarters, and souks of Morocco’s largest and oldest medina. Overnight accommodations are in Fes.

FES - AZROU - MIDELT - ERFOUD - RISSANI - MERZOUGA DUNES

Merzouga - The journey from Fes traverses the Middle Atlas Mountains and cedar forests, renowned globally. Cedar has been utilized since Phoenician and Roman times for woodcraft, essences, and building, including ancient marine vessels. The route passes through Ifrane, a Moroccan town styled like Switzerland, and Azrou, a typical Zayan Middle Atlas Berber village. The group will cross the Ziz Valley and Ziz Gorges en route to the Oriental Sahara town of Erfoud. From Erfoud, a rock desert trail leads to Merzouga. Guests will enjoy camel riding at sunset and an overnight stay in a Berber tent amidst the dunes, with dinner and accommodations in a luxury camp.

MERZOUGA - DRÂA VALLEY - OUARZAZATE - MARRAKECH

Marrakech - An early morning wake-up allows guests to witness the sunrise, followed by time in the camp to enjoy sandboarding, breakfast, and a shower. The group will then ride camels back to Merzouga to meet the driver. The return journey to Marrakech includes a lunch stop, with an expected arrival around 7:00 PM.

VISIT MARRAKECH

Marrakech-Safi - After breakfast, guests can begin exploring Marrakech, known as “the red city of Morocco.” The tour will cover key historical and cultural sites, including the Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian Tombs, and the Bahia Palace. After lunch at a restaurant near the square, guests will stroll through the souks to view a variety of handicrafts. The afternoon offers free time for independent exploration of other parts of the city.

TRANSFER TO THE AIRPORT

Casablanca - After breakfast, guests will be transferred to the Casablanca airport for their return flight.
