Like traveling with a trusted, local friend! - My husband and I spent nearly 2 weeks traveling through Morocco on a custom curated tour, with Hicham as our private driver and guide. Then, from the time we arrived until we departed back to Germany, Hicham took care of our every need and wish, helping us understand local customs, advising us on restaurants and sights to see, and arranging expert guides for touring the ancient Medinas of Fes and Marrakech and for hiking through the High Atlas Mountains. We spent many hours in his comfortable Land Rover exploring the country as we moved from one city to the next - and I will always fondly remember his Arabic Car Karaoke! (I begged for more!) He made stops along the way so we could try a local coffee, stretch our legs, and see some hidden gems off the beaten path - making the long journeys more enjoyable. He is a kind man, with a huge heart and over 20 years experience in tourism, who wants to make every guest feel welcome and safe. He leads a team of drivers and has a network of contacts who can all ensure an amazing adventure, even when he is not personally available. Everywhere we went, Hicham warmly greeted shop & cafe owners, other tour guides, parking lot attendants… you name it - it seemed like he knew everyone. He was even thoughtful enough to bring food along to feed the wild dogs we encountered on the roads! By the end of this trip, we felt we had made a friend for life.
