Fes - After breakfast, embark on a cultural tour of Fes, the intellectual capital of Morocco, once considered the “Mecca of the West” and “Athena of Africa.” It is the country’s second-largest city after Casablanca, with a population of approximately 1 million. Fes, a former capital and one of Morocco’s four imperial cities, consists of three distinct parts: Fes el Bali, the oldest section surrounded by a large wall with over 9,000 narrow streets and alleys; Fes-Jdid, or New Fes, home to the Mellah, the Jewish quarter; and Ville Nouvelle, the newest section created during the French occupation. Fes el Bali is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with the world’s largest medina. Among its narrow streets and alleys lies the oldest university in the world, the University of Al-Karaouine, founded in AD 859, which is still operational today.

Erg Chebbi - Rise early to witness the sunrise from the top of the dunes, then enjoy breakfast at your camp before trekking back to meet your driver for a full day of Sahara Desert exploration. First, visit the nearby Berber village of Khamlia to experience Gnaoua music performed by local bands. Continue to see the desert nomads under their tents. Then, drive off-road to explore the breathtaking Sahara landscapes, passing through the black stony desert where several space movies, such as Interstellar, Gravity, and The Martian, were filmed. In the evening, return to your hotel for a relaxing afternoon by the pool or ride quads over the Erg Chebbi Dunes.
Archaeological Tour – Rissani Authentic Market
Rissani Market - After breakfast, enjoy another day in the Sahara desert area, starting with a visit to Touaz village to explore prehistoric archaeological engravings. Then, head to Rissani, historically known as Sijilmassa, an imperial town predating Fes. It was a significant trade caravan route for Mali and Niger, transporting spices and slaves. Explore the famous gate, ancient palaces, and vibrant souk. For lunch, savor the city’s specialty, Saharan pizza. Later, visit the fossils exhibition and return to your hotel.
Todra Gorges - Dades Valley
Todra Gorges - After breakfast, begin your journey to Erfoud, traveling behind the High Atlas Mountains towards the Todra Gorges, passing through typical villages along the way. Take a walk in the towering Todra Gorges (985 feet high). The scenic river valleys offer a beautiful journey towards southeastern Morocco. This UNESCO-recognized site is famous as a movie set for films like Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia, Prince of Persia, and the recent Game of Thrones series. Lunch will be arranged near the Kasbah before driving through the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n’Tichka (2260 meters), offering breathtaking landscapes.
