Best of Morocco - This trip was a trip of a lifetime. From the beginning to the end it was an amazing experience for my me and my family. Majid was very attentive to all the details that were important to ensure comfort. We had the opportunity to see and experience the best of Morocco from the local guides, the food and overall kindness of the Moroccan people. Special thanks to our drive/guide Aziz for driving us throughout the country and ensuring we were safely arriving and departing between each town/cities and places of interest. Aziz was very attentive to the needs for my family and my 6 year old twin boys quickly bonded with him. I would highly recommend everyone to visit Morocco especially have Majid create your itinerary and Aziz as your driver/guide. Thank you so much for a great experience!

Amazing Marrakesh and desert tour with Said - Amazing trip. We started out in Marrakesh where we saw many great sites, went through the markets, and got to experience the city. After this, we got in our van and headed into the desert where we drove through the high Atlas Mountains, saw some amazing old towns and cities. Our driver Said was fantastic and stopped and showed us much of the amazing landscape and towns along the way. We drove to the sand dunes where we rode camels, went ATVing and slept in tents in the dunes. This part was the highlight of the trip for me. On the way back to Marrakesh, we stopped and saw more amazing sites. Said was very helpful and made sure we had a very good experience. I had a wonderful time on my trip

The Only Way to Visit Morocco - Having discovered Under Moroccan Sun on TripAdvisor, I contacted Hassan and asked for a plan for 17 days, touring Morocco. He provided an excellent itinerary that met our budget, modified aspects for us where we wanted more or less time, or specific activities. His communication was phenomenal and I knew that, at any given moment, while on the trip or otherwise, I could count on his response and support. The thing that can make or break a trip like this is the driver. In this particular case, our driver made the trip! Mouad met us at the airport, went above and beyond within minutes to try and help us find a replacement for some medication, and then got us on our way to Rabat. Mouad deserves a special mention. The "Prince of the Desert", he was upbeat, kind, positive, generous, and informative. He made sure we arrived everywhere safely, always asking if we needed to stop for the washrooms or for food since a number of the drives were very long. He seemed to know everyone! He introduced us to excellent cooperatives where we could learn about a variety of handicrafts and know that anything we purchased was going to go to the people who created them. Somehow we managed to keep to our itinerary while still not feeling rushed or pressured. We were blessed to have Mouad with us for those days and would highly recommend him to anyone joining Under Moroccan Sun! Thanks for everything Mouad. The itinerary itself was truly exceptional. We began in Casablanca but immediately went to Rabat after a short visit and some time to walk at the Hassan II mosque. In Rabat we met Mohammed who took us on a tour of the Medina and the Casbah. He was informative and clearly proud of his country. The tour was well worth it. We stayed the night at Riad Kalaa2 which we can highly recommend. (All of the hotels in which we stayed have separate reviews.) We went next to Tangier with a stop in Asilah and Mouad gave us time to wander around the Medina enjoying the quiet, followed by lunch. In Tangier we stayed at Saba's House. We were met by Abdullah who was not only an excellent concierge but wonderful bartender. We would also recommend this Riad. We explored the Medina in Tangier with our guide Hanea who gave us the history and an understanding of the various specialties of each area within the Medina. She was wonderful. Chefchaouen (the blue city) was next and we stayed at Riad Nila. While there we hiked through the gorges, and had a visit to the casbah. We also climbed to the Spanish mosque on the hill to watch the sunset. Crowded, but nice. On the way to Fez, we stopped at the ruins of Volubilis which were some of the best ruins we've seen. Our guide was excellent. Fez was wonderful too with our guide Khalid who was knowledgeable, fun, and, having grown up in the city, an expert on all things Fez. The drive to the desert takes time from Fez but we had great stops along the way with stunning views of the green gorges and date palm valleys, with an overnight in Midelt. Once in Meknes, we stayed at Riad Madu and had a wonderful stay, visiting Zahara for tea in her Berber home. The desert camp, camel ride to get there, dinner, and entertainment, were all a great experience that we would highly recommend. In The Dades Gorges we stayed at Rihana Dades, a fabulous Riad with amazing food. We enjoyed a hike with Mohammed through the gorges - a man who clearly loves his country and his life, and joined him afterward for lunch made by his lovely wife, Aisha. Her meal was the best we had while in Morocco. Their hospitality was appreciated. We then went to Marrakesh and enjoyed our tour with Suhail who, once again, was informative and kind, and moved at the perfect pace. He joined us on some shopping which was helpful. We enjoyed the cooking school at our luxury hotel, Maison Arabe, and the city, while busy, was worth the visit. Our final stop was Essaouira, the perfect end to our trip. The hotel Villa D'Or was beautiful and the Medina was the best place to be as Eid began. We enjoyed our time wandering the Medina and walking along the extensive beach. We truly feel we saw the best of Morocco. The people were kind, the cities were incredible, and the food was fantastic. As I said at the beginning, without amazing planning and such a wonderful driver, it would've been very different. If you're headed to Morocco and would like to get the most out of your visit, I can only recommend choosing Under Moroccan Sun.

Excellent service by Under Moroccans Sun LLC - I & my family travelled in April 2025 to Morocco from USA. We contacted Under Moroccan Sun LLC through a reference from a family member. I give them 10/10 for everything. Easy to communicate with them. Well defined, detailed & customized itinerary. Excellent driver & guide. My preference was to live in Riads throughout the journey & a luxurious tent in Sahara Desert. All the accomodations arrangements were as promised, in a family friendly areas & Riads. Youssef was our driver through our the journey & he was excellent, knowledgeable, punctual & helping driver. He went above & beyond through out the whole itinerary. Majid was a trip planner & he did excellent job in customizing trip. Mohammad was a drive on last to drop to Casablanca airport from Marakech & he was also very friendly. We were provided licensed & knowledgeable guide in Fez as well as Marakech. I highly recommend for your upcoming Morocco travel. Thanks Kunal Parikh

Promises made, and promises kept (and often exceeded) - Under Moroccan Sun provided my wife and I with a first class experience from start to finish. From our initial contact with Hassan throughout our travels with our driver, Said, everything was well thought out, seamless, and delightful. Hassan was responsive and accommodating, and Said was knowledgeable, personable and flexible. The Riad accommodations were amazing, and often exceeded our expectations, as did the meals that were included. We traveled throughout Morocco, and were amazed by the country’s beauty and geographical diversity and the warmth of its people. Traveling during Ramadan was an added plus, as it did not impact us negatively, and only added to the depth of our experience. All in all an unforgettable experience, and one we will recommend to our friends and family.

Trip of a lifetime - Our week in Morocco was amazing! Majid worked with us to create a personalized itinerary. He was so patient and helped us tailor our trip to include amazing riads, lunches with local families, and fun adventures. The trip was seamless- i felt like we were personally cared for the entire week. Majid coordinated the trip and arranged for our personal driver, Moha. Moha, our driver, met us at the airport in Marrakesh. He was so much more than our driver. he spent the whole week with us driving us to all our stops and sharing his country with us. We learned so much about Moroccan culture and history while spending time with Moha. he is so kind, patient and fun! We will definitely keep in touch. Moha and Majid were in touch through the whole trip making sure we were happy. Majid also reached out personally to us several times during the week to make sure everything was as we wished. In Marrakesh, we stayed at La Maison Arabe. it was incredible! our local guide, Hamid, met us at our Riad to bring us on a food tour the first night. Do not hesitate to do it! We had Moroccan soup made by a woman who was once the King’s chef. The best soup the whole trip! We ate Moroccan donuts, crepes, and so much more! It was the best way to start our trip. The next day, we had an amazing breakfast at La Maison Arabe. Then, Hamid met us for a full day tour of Marrakesh. It was a great blend of history and fun. Hamid is so knowledgeable and made the tour fun for our teen boys. Monday we flew to the Merzouga area where we met back up with Moha. We spent the day making stops on our way to the desert. Moha made us feel so welcome and comfortable with the community. He introduced us to everyone as if we were family. It was wonderful. Our stops included lunch with a local family. What an incredible experience! Mohamed, his wife and 3 children welcomed us into their home. They prepared us a fantastic meal that included berbere pizza! My kids loved it! Mohamed owns a shop below his house. My boys had a great time with him helping them find the perfect scarves for our trek on camels into the desert. Mohamed taught them how to tie the scarves perfectly. It was such a special moment. We loved our time in Rissani. Monday we rode camels into the desert! Amazing! We stayed at Tiziri luxury camp. Ahmed was the head of the camp. A few thoughts- the tents are amazing: Heated, comfortable beds, hot showers, spacious . We worried we might be cold in February at night, but The tents were very warm! We wore jackets by the fire at night and felt very comfortable. We elected to stay 2 nights. I was so glad- we were able to spend the day visiting with a nomad family, riding dune buggies and sand boarding. We had 2 amazing meals! And, sitting around the fire listening to music was awesome. The following day, Moha drove us to Boulmade dades. We spent 2 nights at Dar Rhiana Dades. The staff is amazing- so incredible helpful. Always attentive. The location is perfect. The dinners are like gourmet meals. They were 5 courses every night. I understand the chef trained in Belgium. We were glad to have a full day in the Dades valley. This allowed us to go hiking with Mohamed. Moha introduced us to our guide, Mohamed. We trekked for 4 hours through the gorges. It was amazing! We then met Moha at Mohamed’s house where his wife had prepared us a huge lunch. These are memories we will have forever. From the Dades valley, we travelled back to marrakesh for 1 last night. We are at Dar Esselem. It was a fun night of music and dancing to close the trip. I am so thankful to Moha and Majid. They created the trip of a lifetime

A simply extraordinary trip! - Under Moroccan Sun customized a 10 day itinerary for our group of 4. We learned about and experienced the richness of this wonderful country and its people - we traveled its cities, mountains and valleys, and the Sahara desert. Our amazing driver was with us and guided us throughout the trip. He opened his heart to us and shared stories about growing up in a Berber village and splitting his time between the city and home. We saw historical and modern day Morocco through his eyes, as well as through the tales of the best local guides at every stop along the way. Our accommodations were top notch, and each location has its own beauty and personality. The sights we saw and the experiences we had are unforgettable. This country is like a tagine – slow cooked and imparting layers of marvelous flavors and aromas. We're still savoring so many special moments. We had a choice of travel agencies, and we chose to work with Hassan because of his love of this country and his no-nonsense attitude. Planning the itinerary with him was easy, and we learned during the trip that his network of people in Morocco is unsurpassed. He made magic happen for us, and we are so grateful.

Ultimate Morocco guide and company - If I could give this company a 10 star review I would! I have been to 65 countries in my life and countless tours and this is the best tour and tour guide I have ever had! Moha was incredibly informative, warm and always anticipated our needs. We had 9 travelers from ages of 19-56 and Moha kept everyone engaged and entertained. We could not have asked for more. Hassan, the owner of the company stopped by to see us on New Years Eve to check in. He planned a trip that covered different places in Morocco with BEAUTIFUL hotels and great dinners. Everyday was a new adventure and had a personal local touch. Our group is already planning another trip to northern Morocco with the same company and guide. WONDERFUL COMPANY AND GUIDE!!!

Best Trip Ever! - Hassan planned an incredible trip for us and made sure all of our accommodations were provided for our group of 9 people, 4 adults and 5 college age young adults. Everything was well organized, and the highlight of our trip was our guide, Mohammed (Moha) Ait-Bahadou. From our arrival at the airport to our departure 9 days later, Moha was attentive, well prepared, friendly, and provided amazing hospitality, could not have asked for a better guide!

Wow, experience of a lifetime! - Extensive travel veteran, but first time ever booking a guided trip so I was a little nervous. Hassan worked with me customizing an extended version of this trip, hassle free. Our driver / main guide Mouad was simply amazing, always punctual, excellent English, entertaining, and very adjustable to what we wanted to see and do. All of the riads were top notch places to stay, and the local guides were great (especially Achmed in Fes!) My wife and I were able to see and experience some of the best of Morocco absolutely stress free. From the desert experiences to the hammam and cooking class, everything was a blast. If you're considering a trip to Morocco, UtMS is the way to go.
