Being a cattle rancher in Alberta and working close to the land I so much appreciated learning what challenges are faced and how cotton and alphalpa farming in Arizona brings unique challenges I had not expected or experienced. The educational value of this tour is excellent for all. I would highly recommend this tour to all especially those who are unfamiliar with the business of farming. Thank you Nancy!!😊

What a fun time and very educational. A real opportunity to understand the operations of a cotton and hay farm. This event highlighted the necessity of farming in this region and the impact that water availability has on the bottom line. This was a very worthwhile presentation by family farmers that are true stewards of the land and other natural resources. Being a farmer, regardless of scale, is more regulated than previous generations had to endure. Thank you for all you do to keep agriculture alive and well in our state and thank you for holding these tours.
