Unmissable experience if staying in the areabeautiful scenery but be prepared its busy!. - We went on the 8am tour with 4 adults and 3 kids, one family in a triple kayak and the other family in doubles with one adult and one child in each. Great experience and Stance seemed well organised and with knowledgeable friendly guides Martin and Calvin. Would recommend an early trip for various reasons -easy to park (was NOT the case by the time we were leaving...cars queuing all up the narrow road and car parks full), the caves etc were quieter first thing and avoided the worst heat of the day as we were out by 11am. We were able to jump out of the kayaks for a swim at the furthest point of the trip. Easy paddling on our day and just the right distance with young kids on board.
Looks like you can pribably do a cliff top walk from the car park and likely see down to the arches etc which would be good for photos-we didn't as scorching hot day and no shade for the kids. Another time.
Probably no point booking a 'small group' tour as you can't avoid the other 200 people out in kayaks and boats at the same time....

Great tour, must do to explore the Benagil Caves!! - We loved the tour of the Benagil Caves. We went on a very choppy day and couldn’t go into the caves but then came back 2 days later when the weather cleared and got to go inside all the caves. Our guides Martin, Simon and Kevin were great; Martin especially made sure everyone was comfortable and kept the group together very well. He spoke English and Portuguese so everyone could understand. He also gave us interesting stories about the caves and how they came into being. Highly recommend this tour with Stance!

Fantastic Kayak Tour! - We had so much fun on this tour! Our English-speaking guide was funny, helpful, and made sure no one was left behind. The caves we visited were amazing, and the whole experience was well-organized and memorable.
Highly Recommend!

Great Experience!!! - Did the seven valley hike the day before and decided to see the caves also from the water. This kayak experience was absolutely stunning, not only the great benagil cave but also the other ones and the arches! Additionally, the tour guides Kevin and Thomas were super friendly and gave the whole trip a great vibe! 100% recommended tour!

Kayak in the Algarve - Thrilled with the experience and our guide Martin who was both fun and informative! This company Stance is worth the extra ten euros compared to the more impersonal kayak tour competitors. We will book again when we have friends visiting. Thanks to Rui, Martin and the whole team! Have a wonderful summer☀️

Go on this tour! - The guides were outgoing, friendly and excellent and the tour was better than i expected. 2 things I think would improve it would be better signage to get to the actual area to get your lifejacket. Its up the hill from the general area you would think it would be. 2. Our guide played music in the caves which I have read and been told affects the erosion over time with "noise" factors. i also dont know if everyone loved his music choice and maybe best to not have a speaker/music on in the caves. I felt very safe as they were always looking around and aware of our surroundings and other groups/boats. One guide was always in front and one in back and they were very good at communicating with each other and the group. The history of the caves was very interesting and the groups were not huge which also made it enjoyable-maybe 15-20 max. Highly recommend this company.

Lovely trip - Nice trip. We had lovely weather and a calm sea. The only (big) waves come from the tour boats that also visit the caves and Algar at high speed. Not bothersome by the way, left in the morning at 10.00. Perfect time! Compact group. All can see. Nice guide, who speaks the languages well.

Kayak-fabulous...manager/coordinator-not so much - The kayak experience was great and seeing the multiple caves was amazing (I only expected to see one). Our guide, Tommy, was wonderful. The manager, on the other hand was dismissive and condescending. At one point he chastised me like a child for walking to go get life vests and paddles...telling me he didn't say to go yet...then 3 seconds later said to go ahead. He needs a different job that doesn't involve people.

Great company, tour group is too big - I have to start off by saying the company is great. Very reliable and easy to find. The guides were very nice too. I have no complaints about them. What we did not like about the tour was the group size. There were about 15 kayaks with 3 guides. One of the guides provided information about the caves but at times it was impossible to hear if you were in the back of the group. Because of the group size, we didn’t explore many caves. We did a small group kayak tour the day before of other caves and the experience was much more enjoyable. We went into so many caves and truly felt like we explored a lot of the area in 2 hours. With a group this big it just isn’t possible. For a lot of people that may not kayak often, it would probably be fine but for those of us that know how to kayak and truly want to explore, it was a bit disappointing. Again, great company, but the tour group size is WAY too big.
