Amazing and fun... - Amazing and fun experience! Jair and Jose were both helpful as well. From the boat ride, to exploring the Everglades and Mangroves, learning to play the bongos and learning to fish as well

Beautiful experience. Highly recommended - We were picked up at the hotel and the driver was there before the agreed time. Especially as Germans with their punctuality there are extra stars. He then took us to the departure point and we were warmly welcomed with our canoe driver "Daddy" it was a lot of fun he was very helpful and explained both the mangroves and the birds. We made a short stop to pick up our English guide . She was great and translated well into English. Both adapted, we were so excited that we enjoyed the silence of nature and who gave us the time without talking . It was very pleasant. We made a short stop on a small island where there were turtles , fish that were fed to look at them and a small concert with drums and rattle where we participated. It was a great atmosphere. Then we continued through the mangroves. Such clean air and a beautiful silence. It's beautiful. Then we stopped where "Daddy" showed us the typical fishing and also the prey he caught. Super interesting. Back again very helpful when getting off and you had the option of drinking or toilets. Then we wanted to walk back to where the meeting point was agreed, but the driver came and met and took us with him. Very great again. Again, I can only recommend joining this tour.

Great Experience with a Fantastic Guide - Superb visit to the Mangrove very well accompanied by Jaír, who was an amazing Guide. Very professional, he explained the whole history of the Mangrove, as well as the different animals that inhabit it. A very nice experience, I highly recommend this visit accompanied by Jaír.

Tour guides were great! - Oh my gosh too many to count. Tour guides were amazing. Jair and Jose were very friendly(and funny). Jair was super knowledgeable too. They really let us make the trip our own. We got to get out of the boat in the open lagoon and walk around(it was only calf deep). This made it easier to see crabs and water snails. Jair also got a local fisherman to show us how they use the net and let me throw it! Once we were back, our driver was still 20 minutes out, so we walked along the beach while chatting and learning more about the area. 100% recommend. Ask for Jair and Jose!

Canoe tour through the mangrove: great fun! - We really enjoyed the canoe ride through the mangrove. Our guide Jair explained the different kinds of plants and animals living in the mangrove. We had some time for a delicious lunch and a visit to the beach. Highly recommended tour, even for "elderly" folks like ourselves.

Loved it! Highly recommended tour - Not exactly as described but arguably better. For the 7-hour option, we had a tour of the mangroves and went fishing/emptied crab traps. There was an English-speaking guide for this portion and it was a ton of fun!! I was nervous about getting in the water but it was one of my favorite experiences in Cartagena, learning how to fish. We then had lunch and hung out on the beach until 4PM. The guide had left at this point so if you don’t know any Spanish at all, it could be a bit uncomfortable but nothing Google Translate can’t help. The food was excellent. One thing to note is that you will need cash to tip. There’s an island stop (10k pesos), tip for fisherman (10k pesos), some more pesos if you want to buy a bucket of crabs to cook at lunch (40k pesos split between the group), then drinks at lunch (lemonade was 7k pesos, very worth it since it was fresh squeezed) plus tip for guide/driver (discretionary). Would highly recommend, it was an incredible experience!

Mangrove and Fisherman's Island - tour was great except for one thing. The English Interpreter did not show up and it really impacts the experience. The guide did his best by providing some English from a phone translator. He did the best he could. The trip to the fisherman village was fun.
