Alongside him were our captain, Jeril, and his son, Jairo, who would be steering us through the azure waters. We were given a private table in a wading area, but there were plenty of options for those seeking more excitement. From jet skiing to souvenir shopping, Cholon offered something for everyone. I opted to take it easy, enjoying the laid-back vibe and the chance to connect with fellow travelers.

As we continued our journey, Franklin shared fascinating stories and historical insights about each location. His passion for the islands was infectious, and I found myself captivated by the rich history and culture of the region.
