A must do tour experience! - I didn’t quite know what to expect. We hoped or an authentic experience and that’s what we got and more. Our tour guide was top notch - so lovely, welcoming and knowledgeable!

Highly recommended for anyone wanting the history lesson - Kirby was an excellent guide. The tour we received was very informative and highly recommended. The guide in Palenque sorry can’t remember his name but the two of them made the experience unforgettable

BEST TOUR GUIDE IN CARTAGENA!!! - My tour guide Roberto and the driver Alfonso, we great! Roberto's English was great and he was very knowledgeable about the history of the people and culture. The people were very nice and it felt like I went back in time as it is very much preserved. Additionally, he took me on a private tour of his neighborhood and even made Arpras with his family. This was something he volunteered to do at a very reasonable price. I told them that this was by far the BEST tour of the entire country. I am connecting him with my travel friends once I get back home.

Unique cultural experience - My partner and I had an excellent experience! Our team was Don Julio behind the wheel, Angelica coordinating our entire visit and taking brutal photos and Viktor doing our tour of Palenque (Palenge). We love having had the experience of getting to know the Palenquera culture and its history! We love to learn some words in your language and we really enjoy boxing! This tour is highly recommended for people interested in doing something cultural and different in Cartagena. Please note that you have to carry cash to not only buy beautiful crafts but to help during the tour to the community! All donations are welcome and an immense help! A unique experience. - This was perhaps one of the most memorable tours I have ever taken. Eric the guide was so knowledgeable as he came from the town. The cultural show was mind blowing, the food excellent also. In my opinion this is a must for anyone staying in Cartagena. John from Ireland

Great experienced tour guide/shady driver - The experience was magical and so very rich in cultural history. The people of Penege are resilient and courageous. The tour guide Eric is from Penege he was excellent. Eric was professional, knowledgeable and very transparent. After the tour the driver Luis offered to take another passenger to see a church in Cartagena I didn’t want her to go alone so I road with them as he was dropping me off I asked the passenger how much to give she mentioned asking him beforehand( since she spoke Spanish) but he wouldn’t give a price. After much back and forth between the two of them. He ended up charging us both $20 which was way too much. If you do the tour do not agree to anything outside of the tour without a solid price we both believe he did this on purpose. Luis was the driver.

Historical Experience - The Palenque your was very interesting. We learned so much about the history of the people, Vanessa our tour guide did an amazing job, picking us up on time at the hotel and making sure we were comfortable. She took beautiful pictures throughout and then shared them with me!! The lunch was delicious! Those ladies can cook.
