Do not stop doing this Tour with Julieth - I'd do it again!
A moving experience.

Insights on Gabo's Cartagena - Duran Duran is a lovely person and very knowledgable about Gabo's Cartagena. He was terrific at connecting Gabo's life to his literature. A wonderful break from the party scene of the walled city.

Fascinating and unique tour of Cartagena through a literary great! - I had a wonderful time today with Duran on this tour! He is so knowledgeable about Gabriel Garcia Marquez, about literature and about Cartagena and its history. This was a wonderful way to experience the culture and history of Cartagena and Colombia through the life and literature of Gabo. Duran is an excellent story-teller and was wonderful to talk to. Cannot recommend this tour enough!

It was an exceptionally... - It was an exceptionally pleasant, inspiring, insightful experience. We have learned so much about Gabo and this beautiful region and country. This tour was the highlight of our stay in Cartegena!

Wonderful Experience - Incredible tour - highly recommend; learned a lot of history, culture, philosophy, and literature. The Durans also made a last minute accommodation for me (at 9 pm) for a cooking class.
Besides being wonderful hosts and tour guides, the Durans are also kind friends - they went above and beyond to make sure I (solo female traveler) was safe and directed me to contacts in other Colombian cities. Cannot recommend more.

Amazing experience, excellent guide - Duran is an excellent guide, very friendly, fun and welcoming. He told us the whole story of Gabo, about his family, his life, his influences and the places that marked his path. He showed us the places mentioned in the books and the parallel between them and Gabo’s life. It is a long tour but worth it, we were absorbed in what it told us and showed. It is also appreciated the care of giving us water, breaks, and tips to take care of yourself in Cartagena as a tourist.

Duran is a delight and... - Duran is a delight and has a deep love and knowledge of Marquez. I really loved being in the places Gabo walked and hearing what those places inspired in his books or how they affected his life. This tour was a highlight of Cartagena!

The tour was excellent and Angel Eduardo Duran was great. - Angel Eduardo Duran was our tour guide for a Gabo tour in Cartagena and he was excellent. He spent a good amount of time before we started talking about Gabo and Gabo’s book. He is obviously a very well read man. He is knowledgeable, patient and a thorough gentleman. I have a disability and walk slowly, sit down from time to time, but he was very .patient and nice. We ended up spending more time than agreed when we signed up for the tour. He also went out of his way to entertain our request to visit a particular place that we wanted to go to. I would highly recommend hiring him if you are in Cartagena.

CARTAGENA THROUGH THE EYES OF GABO. - Well versed... enjoyable. Encourages reading and gives a wholesome description of our Literature Nobel Price.
A little bit too long to walk for older people.
I would suggest including passes to the locations like Serva Maria's cript.
Overall...A GREAT EXPERIENCE!
