Gabe's birthday gift - Seeing a school of colorful fish. My female, taileda, instructor was great! She was patient, attentive and she keep me safe. She was very informative about other excursions in the area and advised me to get my diving license so I explore a sunken ship.

Big disappointment all round. - I was promised an English speaking guide as although I speak some Spanish I felt it would be better in English, because of safety concerns. However, the person I dived with had little English. I did feel relatively safe with him, however he did not give any information (in either language) about what we were going to see, what the wrecks were, how they got there, anything! The diving part was subbed out to another company, who had never heard of "Unique Tours". They spent ages trying to find enough fins to fit everyone, and their facilities were primitive - the bathroom was disgusting! The day's schedule of activities was not communicated, I was left waiting around for ages. Ended up being a nine hour day for one 45 minute dive! After the dive I waited around for an hour not knowing where I was supposed to go for lunch. Eventually someone came and got me, but nobody had explained that it was on another island which meant another boat ride. I had already showered (in disgusting facilities) and changed out fo swimwear, because nobody had explained that there would be "beach time" at the restaurant. However because I had been left waiting for so long it didn't matter, as I didn't have time for beach. Also didn't get the promised sun lounge. I had requested a vegetarian lunch when I booked, but the guide was surprised by that and had to hastily throw something together. The boats did not have ladders, so I had to climb in an out of them. If I had know that I would not have booked as I have old knee injuries that make that difficult. I know that the guide can't do anything about the water being really cloudy, I know that is not their fault, but "Unique Tours" could have given a heads up about that, as the whole reason I went on the tour was to go diving, but the visibility was awful. All in all I was very disappointed by the day, and it has put me off using Viator any more, as I cannot trust that you have thoroughly checked the tours that you sell.
