Great experience - On time. We got to the Fort way before other tours. Jhon was very knowledgeable and polite. The driver Alexi was careful and nice Walked al through the Old Town and Getsemani. Stopped where I wanted and not where I didn’t. Nobody bothered us. It was Great! Highly recommend!

A Safe, Flexible and Memorable Day in Cartagena - We had a great experience with Gran Colombia Tours in Cartagena, and Fabian was a wonderful guide and host from start to finish.
Fabian contacted me via WhatsApp the day before the tour to confirm the details, which I appreciated. We had originally planned to meet at our hotel, but he instead offered to pick us up directly at the cruise terminal with our luggage and take us to our hotel during the tour to drop off our bags. That flexibility allowed us to start the tour earlier and made the day much easier for us.
Once we were off the ship and through customs, I let Fabian know, and he met us right outside the terminal. He helped with our luggage, loaded everything into his vehicle and got us on our way right away.
During the tour, we visited many of Cartagena’s major sites, including Castillo de San Felipe, La Popa Convent, several famous churches, Barrio Getsemanà and more. Since it was Palm Sunday, some areas were especially busy, but Fabian guided us like the pro he is and helped us avoid any potential issues. The tour also included a stop at an arepa shop and a local market for sweet treats, which added a nice local touch.
The private format made a big difference. We were able to spend more or less time wherever we wanted, which is exactly what makes private tours so worthwhile. Throughout the day, Fabian shared interesting facts at each stop and clearly knew the city very well. Everywhere we went, people seemed to know him and stopped to say hello, which made us feel even more comfortable being with him.
He also accommodated a few unexpected shopping stops along the way, which we really appreciated. Most importantly, we felt safe, looked after and in very good hands throughout the experience.
At the end of the tour, he brought us to our hotel and made the whole day feel seamless. This is a great option for all types of visitors to Cartagena, whether arriving by cruise ship, staying at a hotel or otherwise. All in all, we had a great time, and Fabian made the day especially memorable. Highly recommended.

Phenomenal tour! Highly recommend - The tour was amazing and guide Jhon Carrascal with driver Morris were beyond good. Jhon spoke perfect English and was very knowledgeable about the history of Cartagena and all the sights. I would 100% recommend Jhon as a tour guide - you will not be disappointed!

We had a wonderful tour... - We had a wonderful tour with Carlos as our guide. He was very informative and showed us many amazing different parts of Cartagena. He also catered our tour to our children, ages 10 and 12, and was very kind and helpful. I highly recommend this tour as a way to visit the old fortress and walled town in Cartagena.

Cartagena Tour - Our tour in Cartagena was one of the best parts of our trip, and our guide Jhon made it even better. He was friendly, easygoing, and really knowledgeable about the city. You could tell he loves what he does, and it made the whole experience more enjoyable. He always took us to the best spots to take photos & always took our group photos.
Honestly, this felt like the best way to explore Cartagena, especially as a private experience. I would definitely recommend this tour with Jhon!!! Our driver was also great. 10/10 experience.

Would be nice to have tour highlights with some facts so more stays in the memory especially as heat does not help to retain much lol

Not as advertised! - Booked a 6.5 hour tour and it ended up being just shy of 3 hours. Our guide was late picking us up for 11 am, and then abruptly left us after 2pm. The language barrier made it difficult to get any information throughout the tour, and while in the car there was a little to no communication between the tour guide and us. Felt there were many sites missed and information that was missed or not covered.
Additionally, the food during the tour was never provided as advertised.
Connected with the tour company after as we had not received what was advertised (less than half) and was only offered a 40 percent refund. Considering the cost of this tour, very very disappointed.
