Passionate tour guide - Katerine Hernandez is local and VERY passionate. She was a wonderful tour guide and we were all very impressed by her.

Passionate tour guide! - This was a unique experience. We were not sure what to expect and our guide made was very comfortable as we were def outside our “normal comfort zone”. Even learned how to throw a fishing net, like a local. Katherine was the most passionate and professional guide we hide throughout our Perú and Columbia tours! Go try something different and learn how the locals survive.

Unforgettable Experience - We spent 2 days touring with Caesar. He has a wealth of knowledge about the local customs and history. We have a greater appreciation for this beautiful area and the people. He tailored our tours to what we wanted. But he also made great suggestions to guide our choices. He is warm, enthusiastic and provided a wonderful experience for our group. We had a very memorable time and felt quite safe. I would highly recommend him!

Don't miss it!! - A great experience, we really liked the whole family and my children enjoyed learning to fish with nets. Caesar is a great guide who gave us many explanations, it is an ecosystem and a different environment, and we ate very well! My children selected it as the best tour of the trip. Don't miss it!!

Fantastic experience with locals and protecting ecosystem - A really fantastic experience, expertly led by the tour guide Katherine who was very knowledgeable and transported to and back to my hotel. Definitely worthwhile to appreciate the surrounding nature, learn about the ecosystem and the town of La Boquilla, and definitely highlights the important that we need to take care of Mother Nature. Do this trip and please tip the local people who are canoeing and serving food as their livelihood depends on it. I was even taught how to fish by the canoe guide! Well worth the experience and time!

Loved this tour - We loved this tour! I was a little hesitant to book it at first because it only had 6 reviews, but I’m so glad we did. We loved seeing the mangroves and the village, and the included lunch was delicious and a lot of food. Our guide Katherine was wonderful and I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Cartagena.

Memorable Experience - This was an overall great experience and Katherine is an amazing tour guide. She’s super smart and so much fun to talk to. The canoe ride with the fishing lesson was really enjoyable. The only downside was the lunch afterwards. It was at a random restaurant on a somewhat dirty beach. I would recommend that you enjoy the mangrove tour and maybe skip the lunch.

The experience did not quite match what was described - The Mangroves were beautiful. However, we were not expecting to have to pay extra for our experience at the fisherman's village and the bottled water. For such a high price, were were expecting our guide to be more knowledgeable about the birds and environment.
