Plankton experience is magical, beach is nice too - Lots of downtime during the day if you're doing the sunset plankton swimming option. I recommend doing the afternoon mangrove and snorkel boat ride, then you can spend the afternoon on the beach. I didn't book the morning aviary option through the tour agency, so I went to the aviary by myself during the afternoon and came back in time for plankton swimming. 10/10 experience and value for the price.

Great time - This is worth the buy. Good value for what you get. Mambo beach club did a great job and everyone involved with this tour. You'll go in and return in a AC bus. Good way to see what cartagena looks like out of the tourist place. They give good information about the city both in English and Spanish. Throughout the day everyone was asked if everything was good and if anything can make the trip better. Friendly and funny crew.

A Worthy Experience Worth Doing - This was a great experience. Highly recommend. The tour guides were Highly attentive to ensuring no one got left behind, which I found important aspect no one really talks about. SAFETY. The drive, the snorkeling, the bioluminescence was just enough. Not too long. Not to short. The variety of fish we saw during snorkeling was fantastic. The bioluminescence was out of this world to witness and experience and hard to capture on film if you try. The staff at Mambo was equally as attentive to our needs. The water warm. Food good. Drinks good. No complaints. The beach itself is very crowded. Trash everywhere. And hassled to buy stuff by outsiders NONSTOP. Only reason why not 5 stars.

Beautiful. - It was a very nice experience. Our guide Juan Luis Z is a nice and friendly person, he was attentive to everything. The “mambo” club is regular. From then on, the experiences are beautiful. 🙌🏻❤️

DISAPPOINTING, Too many people jammed, poorly organized. - Very disappointing! Do not book with them. It's very crowded. The organization of this company is all set. Baru Beach is all very well, but the guides of this company are not. Presentations are not bilingual. It doesn't matter for a presentation, but to tell customers where to go, and how to get back, it's ugly. Also, do not take the option with Bright Plankton, it is hours of waiting for a mediocre result. I've seen it elsewhere in the world. It was much better. At least BOOK WITH SMALL GROUPS!!!

Not the beach club you think it is - The beach club is basically a restaurant in the midst of a row of restaurants. The boat to go to the mangroves and snorkeling was packed with no room to move. They gave out snorkeling masks but no snorkels and we were in the water for about 10 minutes in a small designated spot so there was no chance to explore. The bioluminescence was cool to see but again the boat was packed and we had to bring all of our things, so all of the bags got wet. There was no chance to dry off or change or even use the bathroom afterwards. We ended up wet and cold on the bus ride back.

A big disappointment - This was not a good experience. The beach is VERY crowded and dirty. There is trash everywhere. You cant enjoy the water because of all of the boats and jetskis constantly around you asking if you want rides. There are so many vendors on the beach as well. The snorkeling isn't snorkeling. They give you dirty goggles and someone pushes you under water. You can hardly see anything. And the planton are barely visible. It was a long day of disappointment.

Very bad tourism experience I don't think even RNT has - Lousy tour, maintenance-free boats, dirty mangroves and the place where we went dirty MAMBO BEACH, rain showers, flies everywhere, bad waste and trash management, sea pollution with soaps, animal abuse, bathing without water, bad logistics for the mangrove tour ah that was not worth it at all. The place where we arrived, a pittance. The entrance and exit of the boat terrible, insecure and unkind. The chairs that face the sea are extra and those that are included are inside in a shabby and dirty huts. We pay 120,000 per extra table!!! Not to sit in the Slum. NEXT TOURS IS A SCAM. HORRIBLE!!! This is not Cartagena!!! They're going to throw the tourism!!! They will make no one want to go back to Cartagena! RUBBISH FILLED ISLANDS staff Washing the snorkel face with earthenware soap in the sea!!! What kind of behaviors they are showing tourists!!! Too bad!! Shame on you! It must be confirmed whether this company has national tourism registration or not. If you were robbed during a tour in Cartagena, Colombia, you need to report the crime to the Colombian Police and file a report with the Attorney General's Office, then contact your tour operator for compensation and your insurance company, keeping all records and evidence for claims against the tour/operator.
